"Ava, you have to be quiet! They'll hear you-"
Tears started to spill from my eyes, blending in with the rain that dripped down my face. I shouldn't have come here. The last time I followed someone I made accidentally noise and got them killed. I ha...
"We look HOT!" Rylee gasped, gawking at her reflection in the mirror. I had to admit she was right, we were definitely party ready. Rylee had slightly curled her hair, put on eye makeup, then slipped into a cropped black sweater and black, high-waisted jeans. She finished the outfit with a necklace and black combat boots.

As for me, I have the most rotten luck. I forgot my outfit and accessories at home, and Rylee and I had different body types so none of her clothing fit right on me. She decided to sneak into her mom's closet (against my pleas) and she came out with an outfit she said would be "so cute on me!"
The dress was a white off the shoulder from Banana Republic, and Rylee lended me some gold necklaces and a white fuzzy sweater in case I got cold.

Twenty minutes later we were at Payton's house, and holy shit was it gigantic. It looked larger than Jaxon's, if that was even possible. There were cars lining the street, so Rylee and I had to park far down. As we walked up the driveway we were greeted by tons of people outside dancing around, throwing back shots, running about like maniacs. We had to dodge people left and right to make it to the front door.
"Wwwhoa!" some guy wearing a UCLA cap slurred, knocking into me. His drink fell to the ground, the liquid thankfully missing me.
"This is awesome" I muttered, speed walking towards the front door. High school party my ass, this was more like a frat party with high school students in attendance.
Rylee and I finally made it inside and she breathed a sigh of relief.
"This is nuts. Also, maybe not the best choice to give you a white dress"
"Yeah, thanks a lot Ry" I smirked, playfully nudging her.
It took me a good minute to really take in the enormity of the living room we were now in. I'd never seen anything like Payton's house, hell, Jaxon's house couldn't hold a candle to this place.
