After the game, Laura and I spent the night at my house. It was a full moon and I didn't know it.
So, Laura and I were in my backyard just celebrating about the win. The full moon was rising. I felt the transformation coming on, so I tried to hold it in. Not the best idea.
I ended up collapsing on the floor screaming in pain as I was feeling my ears trying to change. And my eyes glowed a bright yellow. And with that jaw hurting as my canines were almost showing.
"Madi!" Laura screamed. "What are you doing?" I couldn't answer.
"Are you okay?" She asked.
Then she panicked. "Madi! Answer me right now. Please." She said. "What is wrong with you?"
I quickly whipped my hood up as my ears were finally on top of my head and stood up with my hood and shades on.
"I'm fine." I said, lying. "No." Laura said. "There is clearly something wrong with you and you can't tell me?" She took my shades off and I quickly closed my eyes.
"Open your eyes." She demanded. "No." I said through clenched teeth. So she just had to pinch me and my mouth and eyes opened. She gasped. "You're a vampire!" She said. "Why didn't you tell me?"
"I'm not." I said. "Take off my hood and find out." I ran.
