We screamed as the game ended. We did our Wolves' chant and we howled at the end. Then we gathered on the first base line and they gathered on the third base line. We gave out the MVPs and I got one and the pitcher on the Mass Drifters received one.

The umpires walked off and away from the field as the Drifters got awards. We watched at the Mass Drifters received their second place trophies as we clapped for them. We were laughing at the coaches' funny remarks. So did they.

Now it was our turn. "Now." Said Coach Emma. "I am very proud of you girls. You did an awesome job in the summer league and now, this tournament. I am way more than proud of you all. Mass Drifters, you guys brought us a great and challenging game." We clapped. "I want to thank Coach Neil for helping me." She added. "And girls, you played spectacular. It was the best game that I had coached."

Now we were getting our trophies. Coach Emma called our names down the line. "Laura." We applauded. She kept calling names and he stopped at me. "And don't forget the one who saved the game. Madi." My team screamed as I got my trophy.

When I walked back to my team, I was feeling my transformation coming on. I knelt down from dizziness. Lilly rushed over to me. "Madi." She said. "Are you okay?" "No." I said. "Don't look at me." She did anyways and saw the yellow eyes even brighter and visible for anyone to see. "Laura. Come quick." Lilly said. She ran over to me as she saw it through the shades. Both teams were staring at me as I put my hands on the clay. I was thankful that my helmet was still on. "Madi." Shannon said. "Take off your helmet. You're probably overheating." "Leave me alone, Shannon." I said. "I'm not overheated." She had a smirk on her face.

"Leave her alone, Shannon." Said Laura. "And that counts for anyone else who gets near Madi, except Lilly and me." "You know I'm trying to hold this in, right?" I whispered. "Yeah, it's not working." Said Lilly. "Yeah. I know." I said.

Shannon stormed over and whipped off my helmet. I covered my head, but not fast enough. "Werewolf!" Shannon screamed. "I knew it." Everyone gasped. "Prove it." I said. "Isn't it obvious?" She said. "When I saw you in the first practice, I recognized you quickly. Your auburn-brown hair showed your personality. Your personality as a she-wolf. I saw your eyes glow and it came to me. I just thought you were normal at first. Not anymore." "You thought me wrong." I said. And I ran.

I ran as far as I could, away from the field and I ran into the bathroom and cried.
