It was two in the afternoon. We were not supposed to be at the field until three to warm up, so Lilly, Laura, and I went to the concession stand to buy lunch. "Laura." Lilly said. "Look at Madi." She did as she saw my eyes a permanent yellow. "Oh, Madi." Said Laura. "How that happen? I know what you are and all, but how can it be permanent?" I just looked at them and sighed. "I don't know." I said. "I thought I was fine and all, but no. It had to be a full moon. My eyes had to stay yellow for the rest of the week, including this coming weekend. My life is now revolving around it."
"Well, it could have been worse." Said Lilly. "I mean-" I cut her off. "Do you hear that?" I asked. "No." Both Lilly and Laura said.
It was Shannon. She was talking to Kelli and Gabby. "Listen guys." She said. "If we doesn't do anything about it, we will have to show her who is queen of softball. She's a werewolf. We are vampires. We will rule the sport forever." I started growling. "Madi. Stop." Laura held me back.
I just wanted to play the game and three girls ruin my chance for me. I guess I have to ignore the fact that they might be on to me.
