Lilly took Laura aside and hid from the others with me. "You okay, kid?" Lilly asked. "No." I said. "They know. And I am soon to be dead meat." "Well, don't feel bad." Said Laura. "I'm neither." "Then you turn her." I said to Lilly. "I don't want her to be in danger like I am." "You're right, Madi." Lilly said. "I will turn you, Laura." "Why a vampire?" she said. I want to be like Madi." I laughed. "You will be most likely in danger." I said. "Ok." Laura said. "I'll be a vampire." "Ok. Caution." Said Lilly. "This will hurt." I looked away expecting to hear the pain coming from Laura. I heard it.
I was backing up. "So." I called. "How do you feel?" Laura took a deep breath and opened her glowing red eyes. "I feel refreshed." She said. "But that did hurt."
"Good." I said. "Now, who is ready to kick some butt?" "I wouldn't." Lilly said. "Both teams are after us."
"Let's just make a run for it." I said. "Good idea." Laura said. "But when? I see the teams on the other side of where we are."
"Just stick together." Lilly said. "On my go." We peeked out of the bathroom and found the teams on the right. We looked to the left and we saw the parking lot and the field we played at. We quickly grabbed our gear and ran into the parking lot. We hid in my foster mother's car. "Hey." I said. "Can you drive to the hotel and can we check out?" "Sure." She said. "What else?" "And can you drive us home and may Laura and Lilly spend the night?" I asked. "Yes. It's fine with me." She said. We drove home after we checked out.
