"Its been years now, its okay." Miranda hugged her mother trying to understand what brought this on. "It must have been so difficult to endure darling, and I wasn't with you. I'm so sorry. I could always trust you with everything, you have always been there for me but I wasn't able to be there for you. I didn't trust you with your own life!" Cynthia's incessant weeping was beginning to make Miranda concerned. Sure her mother had her weak moments, but this was too foreign for the girl and she didn't know what else to say.

"But you saved me, you found me and you saved me. So its fine," Miranda whispered doubting if it was the right thing to say. "No, I almost lost you Miranda. I can't go through that again." she looked her daughter pulling away. "I'm here, you wont loose me mom. I've gotten so much stronger and better." she tried to smile at Cynthia. Her mother touched her cheek gently, "I know, you were always strong my baby, but I couldn't imagine Jules surviving like you managed. I can't.." "Mom!" Miranda broke her mothers words abruptly, "Nothing will happen, she wont go."
