They sat on the sandy edge, and waited for Julia to wrap her mind around this. "So we are mermaids?" Julia asked unsure of the terminology. "Yeah," Cynthia agreed. "That's pretty cool, Randy!" she grinned toothily at her elder sibling. "You do realize, how dangerous it can get if you're stuck alone right?" she asked Jules seriously, not looking at her.
"I wasn't able to pull myself out, so" Julia realized. "So you'll be stuck with a tail, till you get out of the ocean." Miranda completed. "You wont be able to drag yourself out to a beach, its too heavy for that. Even if you do, there is a chance someone might see." Cynthia explained calmly trying not to scare her little girl.
