josh and tyler had still been "talking" for a couple weeks now. every now and then tyler wouldn't talk to him for a couple days, and most of the time he'd avoid him at lunch. it kind of hurt josh's feelings but he would never tell tyler.
today was kind of a rough day for the purple haired boy. his mom yelled at him for no reason whatsoever and then he couldn't find his favorite sweatshirt. so now he was stuck wearing his ripped jeans with his teddy fresh hoodie instead. he still liked the outfit, but he'd much rather be wearing the sweatshirt his brother gifted him before he left for the marines. (in this fic jordan is older and going into the marines) ((pretty sure earlier on i mentioned jordan, soooo just ignore that))

and then, once he arrived at school, benny gave him some more trouble. nothing physical, but verbal things like "fag" and "homo"
he of course didn't retaliate, even though he would have loved to, but it wasn't worth it.
one his way to the cafeteria he passed tyler. the taller boy was standing by his locker talking to a blonde. josh recognized her as jenna black. she hadn't been at school for two weeks, out on vacation. he felt a rush of jealousy go through him when tyler didn't even look at him as he walked by. he shook it off and decided he'd ask him later.
lunch was.. basic. josh sat with brendon and of course dallon, wherever there was brendon, there was dallon right next to him. the boy had been feeling kinda sad today, he tried his best to ignore the feeling though. eventually he was brought from his thoughts when he felt a fry hit his face. not much of a reaction came from josh, with his head still propped up on in the inside of his palm, his eyes flicked up to meet brendon's.
"hey dun, you okay man?" brendon questioned genuinely concerned. even dallon looked worried. josh just chuckled softly and shook my his head.
"i'm okay."
"are you sure?"
"yep."
"okay"
nothing more was said for the rest of lunch.

josh decided that he needed to see tyler. so he was going to surprise him at his house. once school was out josh headed straight to tyler's house knowing basketball practice was cancelled. he didn't even bothering knocking on the door of the house, marching straight it. he made it was upstairs and flung tyler's door open
"hey ty-" josh's eyes widened at the sight in front of him. jenna was straddling tyler's hips kissing his furiously. the brunettes hands were gripping her butt encouraging her. eventually tyler sensed someone else in the room. immediately he pushed the blonde off of him and wiped his mouth as if what he was doing was all of the sudden shocking and disgusting.
"oh shit. josh i can explain."
josh ignored him and turned to jenna, "jenna, would you please explain to me what the hell is going on?" the girl looked pissed.
"what the fuck do you mean? i was making out with my boyfriend until some fag interrupted me. i mean honestly, i've been gone for a couple weeks and missed him and now i've been stopped? what the fuck!" jenna was red in the face and looked ready to fight.
josh didn't need to hear anymore, he completely understood what was going on.
"josh- please, i really can explain!" tyler was on the verge of tears.
"save it joseph, i understand what's happening. your apparent girlfriend leaves and your lonely. so instead you manipulate my feelings so you can have someone to play with your dick when she's not around. no fucking thanks."
at this, josh stormed out and drove home. he didn't know what he was going to do. he was just so fucking lost.
