Victoria's POV

Prom was cute. Deliliah and Austin won prom king and queen. I had the honor of crowning them both. The only thing that happened was Collin had to separate this couple that was eating each other's faces off in a corner. I took millions of pictures and also got hit on by alot of teen boys. That's a self-esteem booster. After they saw Collin they ran off.

Two months later I was having a conversation with Collin and Warren about my wanting to be turned. I'm not going to lie, I'm a little scared. They said if this goes wrong I'll either die, or they'll have to kill me. I'm sure I can learn and do everything I need to survive and be a vampire.

Today is the day I get turned. We agreed that Collin would do it. I don't really want anyone else's teeth on my neck.

"Okay. Explain to me exactly what's about to happen." Warren asked as he paced slowly in front of me.

"Collin is going to bite me in the neck. I'm gonna feel a burning sensation that starts In my neck then moves over my whole body. I pass out and I wake up a vamp." I rushed to describe the process.

"The bite is going to feel like two pencil thick needles going into your neck. It will hurt. It will burn as if someone is pouring alcohol on a fresh cut. This is your last chance to back out. You realize you will have to kill animals and/or people for food. You will drink blood as your meals. You will have super strength, speed, and senses. Do you understand all that?" He asked

"Yes. I understand. I'm ready." I nodded

"Okay. Daniel and Ashlyn, hold her down." I sat in the chair behind me. Danny held my arms and Ashlyn grasped my legs.

"I love you Victoria. If anything feels different than how we described say something immediately okay?" Collin was standing in front of me.

"I love you too, Coll. I'll let you know." I promised

He gave me a kiss before walking around me and tilting my head.

"You got this, Vic." Ashlyn said "You're a lot stronger than I was." She encouraged

"You ready?" Collin asked

"One." I felt his breath on my neck

"Two." I closed my eyes and held my breath.

"Three."

Nothing prepared me for the pain that followed. I felt a sting start where he bit me. It quickly moved to my brain and It burned, bad.

I felt myself whimper and whine. The burning intensified and I cired out in pain.

"You okay, baby?" I heard Collin's voice. I opened my eyes to look at him and it was blurry.

"It burns, Collin." I think I was crying.

"Its okay. You're okay." I felt him stroking my hair.

I was squirming to get up. Ash and Danny held me tighter.

"No!" My gums were burning now. Maybe its my fangs coming in. My arms and legs felt like jello. My lungs felt like they would collapse.  My heart beat was erratic. I screamed in pain and everything went black.
