Vampires?

Victoria's POV

"Fuck off Rachel." I spat at her, turning my music back up and turning my chair back around.

"That's no the way to talk to your best friend, is it Victoria?"

"What are you- Ashlyn!" Two big guys stepped forward holding Ashlyn by her arms. She was in cuffs and gaged. She looked dead.

"Let her go!" I screamed

"She's not your friend anymore. She's one of us." She growled at me.

Her eyes change from blue-grey to a dark red.

"Who are you really?" I asked, my eyebrows coming together

"I'm Rachel Peters." She smiled in a sweet voice" I blinked and she was right in front of me. I stumbled backwards "Your worst nightmare." Her voice was so dark. It alone was scaring me.

"What do you want?" I scooted back against the wall.

She flashed sharp fangs at me.

"You dead. You see, my plan worked." She smiled, her eyes shining. "What is my plan you may ask? It was to get you so weak, so vulnerable to me, that you'd shut all your friends out and run away. You'd be too weak to fight back making you an easy kill. Ashlyn here was just a bonus. We turned her, and now she's one of us. You'll be her first meal." She walked closer to me.

"Vampires? Their just in the movies." I told her, trying to keep my voice strong.

"Look around you, Victoria." I looked. Brooklyn, Alex, and Paul all bared their fangs at me. Red eyes beating down on me. "This is no dream, this is your life. Your life that's about to end."

She lunged at me. I screamed, curling into a ball. I closed my eyes waiting for the pain, when I felt nothing I looked up to see Trey pinning Rachel to the ground.

"I told you to leave her alone!" He screamed in a voice that didn't sound like his. She scratched and bit him, He fighting back with more punches and teeth. I look away from them to see Ashlyn beginning  to wake up.

Alex and Paul slowly unchained her.

"What's happening to me?" She cried. She fell to the floor, taking heavy breaths.

"You're hungry. Victoria can help with that." Alex smirked at me.

She looked up at me, her eyes a bright red. She growl and ran at me with barred fangs. I got up and tried to fight her off. Pushing and kicking. I got her off of me long enough to run.

"Victoria!" I looked up to see Danny, I was excited to see him until I noticed his eyes were also red. Is everyone I know an undead, human eating monster?

I can't take this anymore I ran down a hall, and found a closet. I hid in it.

Trey's POV

I need some alone time. Please don't come looking for me, I'm fine :) -Victoria

I decided to follow her anyways. I went to Jordan's house to get Danny.

I knocked on the door.

"Hey did you get her text?" Jordan asked

"Yeah. Can you get, Danny? He told me to pick him up." I asked

"Yeah sure."

Danny came to the door.

"We gotta go. I drug him out the door and explained my plan.

I just knew where she was going. My senses were heightened when it came to her. Maybe fifteen minutes later we pull up to an abandoned dance school. I see a huge van parked right behind her car.

Danny and I sneak in the open

door and make our way to Victoria.

"Look around you Victoria!" It was Rachel. At the sound of her voice I began seeing red.

At first, I was just going for a protective kill. Now?

Now. I want her head.

"This is no dream, this is your life. Your life that's about to end."

I ran at her. Tackling her to the ground. My fangs sprouted from my gums and I growled in her face.

"I told you to leave her alone!" I yelled. My protector side taking over. She started clawing at my face. I punched her and took her by her hair. I stood up, slamming her into the wall. She dodged my next punch my fist putting a huge hole in the wall. She kicked me in the stomach, sending me flying against the wall behind me.

I look to see Victoria is gone. I can hear her erratic heartbeat and I know she's running.

I shook off the pain and got up again. Running at her. I held her down by throat.

"Don't mess with what's mine." My voice was cold. I sat on her shoulders, her screaming as loud as she could and I ripped her head clean from her body.

Alex and Paul, her slaves as I like to call them, came in just after I beheaded their boss. They came at me.

I ended them both.

After I took care of those weak losers I went looking for Victoria. I could still hear her heart beating rapidly, so I know she's still alive. The smell of blood is filled my nose, it was hers. I ran faster up a flight of stairs and around a corner to see a screaming Ashlyn being pinned down by Daniel.

"Daniel what are you doing?!" I yelled as he was fighting her. She looked at me. Damn it Rachel. She was screaming and crying, begging for her life.

"No, Danny please! I don't know what's going on! Don't kill me please. Please help me." She cried.

"Get off of her." I told him

"Are you crazy? She tried to kill Victoria. She deserves to die." His voice as hard as a brick.

"She didn't ask for this. Get off of her. That's an order." I demanded

He growled quietly and slowly got off of her.

"Tie her down. I'll look for Victoria."

I followed the smell of her blood, which was slightly tempting, but I contained myself and stopped at a closet door.

I took a few deep breaths, trying to get my eyes to turn back and my fangs to go back in. I don't need her afraid of me, though seeing what she saw between Rachel and I probably scared her enough.

Once that was done I slowly opened the closet door to see her in a quivering heap on the floor. She was crying and shaking. It was so upsetting to see.

"Victoria. Are you okay?" I asked

"No! Ashlyn tried to kill me. Rachel wants me dead.." She cried. She looked so scare when she looked up at me. I never wanted her to find out like this.

"Are you hurt?" I kneeled beside her.

She held her head up, and there was a bruise on her forehead. She had some scratches on her arms. I held my breath -being half human I do still breath- and with a cloth from my pocket I tied up her wound.

"Let's go." I reached out to help her up but she shook her head.

"Victoria I promise you're safe. Rachel, Alex, Paul, their dead. Ashlyn shes tied up and she's not going to get you." She still shook her head.

"You're afraid of me aren't you?" Sadness taking over my voice.

She nodded.

"Danny, give me Ashlyn. Get Victoria to come out please.."

I walked Ashlyn to the car and put her inside.

"Look. You're not gonna like this, but you cant be awake when Victoria gets in the car. You can't control your cravings yet. Sorry in advance." I said before injecting her with a special sleeping medicine. It's slightly painful but it'll keep her asleep long enough for me to get Victoria where I need her.

A few minutes later Danny was carrying a sleeping Victoria to the car. Please don't tell me he knocked her out..
