Victoria's POV

"I'm listening"

"I need you to understand something. I- I can't do this anymore" He looked into my eyes

"Do what?" I asked worried.  He isn't "breaking up" with me is he? Why would he do this at such an amazing place?

"You didn't let me finish, doll." He smiled "I can't go on pretend like there's nothing between us. Going through the last two years of high school and starting college with you; I've learned so much about you. I mean outside of the whole stalking thing." He both laughed

"You're a magnificent person. Beyond gorgeous, compared to any and every other girl I've ever seen. Your personality is more beautiful than those stars we were looking at last night." I giggled at his similie choice.

"Your laugh can light up a room, Angel. I love making you blush. It makes me feel like I'm doing my job in keeping you happy. " He smiled as I blushed.

"The compliments are nice, thanks, but you don't mean it." I broke eye contact looking at the ground. I enjoyed the compliments,  but I don't want to get my hopes up.

"You think I don't mean it?" He stood up "I'll prove it to you" He cleared his throat

"No, Coll, please sit down."

"Excuse me, everyone! May I please have your attention for a quick five or less minutes?" Everyone near us is now looking our way. My cheeks flushed a tomato red, I knew without looking.

"This is my beautiful, amazing, intelligent, crazily awesome best friend, Victoria. She doesn't believe me when I compliment her but it's true. She's gorgeous and her personality is beautiful. Her smile, her blush.." He trailed off.

"Anyways she loves those videos and seeing people proposed to in public. She loves crazy in love guys doing insane things for the women they adore." He turned to me "Victoria, I love you. As more than a friend or sister. I wanted to do something you love. Victoria Elizabeth Monroe, will you be my girlfriend?" He smiled

Everyone awed and smiled.

I began to cry, happy tears of course, as I stood and nodded. Everyone clapped and cheered.

He cupped my face in both of his hands and kissed me. His lips were soft and warm. I smiled into the kiss, placing my hands on his chest.

"I love you too, Collin." I whispered after he pulled away. He wiped away my tears and planted another kiss on my forehead. I giggled, wiping the remaining tears from my face.

Our waiter, Trey, came back to collect our desert plate.

"Congratulations you too. You already look like a wonderful couple." He smiled, sitting the check on the table. He was looking through his wallet for a card as I tried to snesk a look at the check. He smacked my hand away.

"No. I pay, I look, you sit there and look cute." He winked and picked the check up

"I wanted to see how much you loved me." I poked out my bottom lip, rubbing my hand as if it really hurt.

"I love you enough to pay for your meal. Plus, if I let you see it you are going to feel bad, trust me." He smirked

"I'd feel bad, really? It's that expensive?" I said with wide eyes.

He did the 'eh, kinda' side to side head shake. I feel bad and I didn't even see the check.

Trey came to collect the money and gave Collin his phone back. He thanked him and came around to my side and showed me the pictures.
