For Victoria's Sake

Victoria's POV

As we left the mall, I called Ashlyn and told her about my run in with Danny. I gave her his number and she said she'd pass it on to Jordan for me. I put all my new clothes and shoes in their places and went down to the movie room with Trey.

"Hey what flavor blowpop did you get?" He pointed to the sucker in my mouth

"Blowberry" I joked

"Never had that one before" he took it out of my mouth "you mind?"

"You wanna lick my lollipop? " I asked with raised eyebrows.

"Now that I think about it, nevermind."

"So we gonna watch a movie?" He asked as the doorbell rung.

"Hold that thought." I ran to get the door.

"Hey baby girl." Danny smirked

"Hey!" I gave him a hug, opening the dokr for him to come in.

"Sorry for just showing up, I was talking to Ash and she gave me your address and I got excited-"

I covered his mouth with my hand.

"It's okay. You coming over was never a problem before, it isnt one now." I smiled.

"Who's at the- Daniel! " My mom squealed. "Oh my goodness you've gotten so big. Look at you!" She gave him a hug that he glady returned.

"Hi, Momma M."

My mom is like a mom to all of my best friends.

"Well Trey is downstairs waitinf so that's where we'll be." I told my mom, guiding Danny down the stairs.

"Look who showed up." I told Trey, Danny standing at my side.

"Oh. Hi." was all he said.

I rolled my eyes.

"You want anything? Food? Snack? Drink?" I offered

"Did your mom keep her word?" He asked. It took me a second to figure it out, but I finally nodded.

"Cool. Suprise me then." He smiled,  sitting down. He started a conversation with Trey, I smiled at his efforts.

Danny's POV

What is he doing here? I seeing him is beginning to make me sick, but I know why him and his dad moved here.

"Look, I know what's happened between us and I don't like it either, but Victoria; She's my best friend and my sister. I couldn't have just ignored her so you see why I really have no choice but to get back in the picture right?" I told him.

"You're talking to me like you didn't want to see her. If she's your best friend why are you apologizing for an accident, unless it wasn't an accident."

"I didn't know she would be there, but even if I did I still would've went. I'm just saying that for her sake we can at least pretend we don't hate each other." I suggested. He's making it hard for me to be the better person.

"Yeah. Whatever." He mumbled, going back to playing on his phone.

"Here ya go." Victoria said walking back in the room. "I mixed up some stuff . It's strong, but good." She smiled

"Thanks babe." I winked taking a sip. Wow, strong but good.

"So what now?" Trey asked

"Video Games?" She suggested

"You still play?" I was genuinely shocked. I thought she'd think theh were stupid by now, guess my girl hasn't changed much at all.

"Duh. C'mon, I bet I can kick both your asses. Pick a game." She smirked getting up.

She was right. Both of our asses were brutally kicked.
