THE ADVENTURE [chap.10]

I have school today and it seems like I can't bring him anywhere today. It's 4 AM and I already awake, cooking some breakfast for the three of them and for my own self. Once I'm done with them, I took a quick shower and put on my uniform. I ate my breakfast quietly when my aunt and Luke came down the stairs. They mumbled 'morning' which I replied by a nod.

This home is really far from my school, it took 45minutes drive if there's no traffic jam, but if there's a traffic jam, we can spend 2hrs just to reach my school. Not like my house, I just have to spend 15minutes to reach my school.

I woke my cousin up and told him to drive me to school he grumpily shoved me from his body and made his way to the bathroom. I waited patiently for him to get done while I'm just having a small chat with my aunt and Luke.

He's done with his business 15minutes later and it's already 5.30AM. My class starts at 6.30 and I got a little panic if I am honest. I pulled him toward the car and demand him to start the car ASAP. He just grumpily obeyed and thanks to god there's no traffic jam. Or else, I'd get late and have to deal with that killer teacher. She's a bitch, I swear.

I walked towards my class and jumped straight to my best friend.

"WILLIAM YOU KNOW WHAT!?" I scream in front of his face. He looked at me like I was a crazy maniac before he told me to put my bag down and take a sit.

I obeyed quickly and scream the same thing again.

"Something special happens to you I guess?" He said.

"YES BITCH!! You know my boyfriend?"

"Yeah, that one that lives far away from us, why?"

"He's here! OMFG, I can't believe this!" I said screaming happily and squeezed his hand a little too tight.

"Let go of my hand, bastard!"

"Sorry, I got too excited," I said grinning cheekily.

"Details please," He said then I told him every single thing that happened last night. He just nodded his head now and then, and a few times narrowing his eyebrow. I ended my story with a loud happy scream before I jumped down from the table and took a real sit on my seat.

"I'm happy that you're happy, Ash." He said smiling genuinely. I squeezed his hand again (not too tight this time) before the bell rang and the teacher walked in.

I can feel my classmates' stare on me during the lesson and maybe they'd think I'm weird because I just scream all of a sudden when I got in the class this morning, but who cares? Well, not me.

School passed like it used to be, nothing interesting happens other than this strict teacher ended up didn't show up so we have free time for 3 periods straight.

I walked to the bus stop and waiting for the bus patiently. I was planning to go to my home and pick up my uniform for four days ahead and take all the books that I need.

Lemme tell you something, in Indonesian, we have no lockers for our books and things, and we have to use a uniform for school, each day different uniform. Just Monday and Tuesday that has the same uniform, other than that it's different. Schools start at 6.30 and finish at 2 PM. Long day, I must admit. But we can't avoid it schools in here is really suck. And if you were in grade 6th or 9th or 12th, you have this additional class (due to the final exams that you'll get) and that'll make you go home even later than usual.

Back to my plan, I arrived at the bus stop near my home, and walk for another 1.5km to actually arrive at my home.

I pulled out my luggage from my closet and put all my books and uniform in it. I took a quick lunch while I'm waiting for my cousin to pick me up. My car wasn't with me, but it was with him.

He arrived an hour later and I say goodbye to my mum before I leave the house. I slip in the passenger seat and someone said hello to me. I turned around and see Luke seat on the backseat with his stupid dimply grin.

"What the hell are you doing in there?"

"He kept begging me to come and pick you up. I ended up following his need but once we arrived he's too scared to go out and meet your mum, so he just waited there while I came and knock the door." My cousin explained to me. I scoffed at Luke and gave him a playful glare.

"Grow a pair, you bitch!" I said before I turned back around and facing the road in front of me.

We arrived an hour and a half later, and I got too exhausted to even go upstairs. I threw myself on the couch and just simply passed out.

I woke up in my bedroom with my phone and luggage by my side. It seems like someone carried me to my room. I walked downstairs to see the three of them doing a movie marathon with two bowls of popcorns. I sat next to my cousin and stole the bowl. I grab the popcorns and threw it into my mouth. He excused himself and left to his room. I scoot closer to Luke and cuddle his side. My aunt left the both of us and walk to the kitchen.

We watched another two movies before my aunt called us for dinner. We ate the pasta and keep throwing some joke here and there. I did my home works after that (obviously with Luke's help after I translate it to English) before I passed out again on the floor, my face on the coffee table, and my book as the pillow.
