THE SUMMER [CHAP.22]

We spent the day shopping around from one point to the next points and continued like that for the next 3 malls. I also took them to the side of town where there were so many street foods. We went to the seafood's restaurant for our dinner, before I drove them back to the penthouse. I parked the car in the parking lot and give the key to Dad J. Me and Luke says our 'goodbye' before we slip into my car.

"Do you wanna go straight to home? Or are we going to find a new track or something?" He asked while fastening his seatbelt.

"Which one you're up to?"

"I don't know, I'd like to pass a new road to go there, so find a new track I guess?"

"Alright, I don't have any GPS with me now, and my phone dies, so if we get lose, you have to turn on the GPS from your phone ASAP 'kay?"

"Yeah sure, I'll just turn it off for now so the battery won't get drain."

"Yeah 'kay,"

"Which way you wanna try by the way?"

"I've heard people took this way to reach our place before, but I've never tried it myself, so why don't we try it now?" I said giving him a knowing look and he just nodded. We blast the Youngblood album and sing our heart out.

"Is that woods?" He said pointing to his left side and my right side.

"I don't know, maybe it is maybe it's not."

"Let's just follow the light." He said pointing to the dim lights at the end of the streets.

I did as told and speed up a little so we arrived at that spot faster, and yeah it was wooded, and now we were in the middle of dead residents. It's not a cemetery, it's just that this resident seems so dark and some of the houses that I've passed seems broken and a few were already fallen apart.

I don't even know where we were, but it seemed like I choose the wrong turn.

"I think I should turn on the GPS now," Luke said more to himself than me.

"I guess I choose the wrong turn and that's why we're in the middle of nowhere now."

"It's 'kay, we can just use the GPS," Luke said reassuringly. He squeezed my left-hand, then turn on the GPS.

"We're here, and this... is our home." He said pointing to the screen.

"Not too far away, but still far enough. It's already 10 now."

"Let's switch. I'll drive."

"But what if..."

"No, not with the 'what if's. Just switch now, you're tired. C'mon" He said then opened the door and walked towards my door. I get out and we switch our seat.

I lean my head towards the window while he drove the car to the other way around. His left hand was on my thigh squeezing it reassuringly and motioning me to take a nap, but of course, I refuse.

"Are you sure this is the right way?" I asked sleepily.

"Yeah I guess so, the Google maps said so. Just take a sleep I'll be okay." He said ruffling my hair.

"I know you will, I just don't want to," I said.

"We're already in front of that mosque near the police station. Just sleep, I still remember the rest of the way to reach the home."

"I don't want to, Luke please."

"You have to. Stop overworking yourself 'kay? I don't want you to get sick. I'll be fine I swear." I send him a glare before looking out of the window.

"Just close your eyes, we'll be home soon." He said softly. I sigh in defeat but finally did as told.

I woke up the next morning already in my room and cuddled up with my boyfriend. 

I guess I'll just go disappear to god knows where now.
Goodbye, my friends. I'll see you if you guys decided to show up.
