THE SUMMER [CHAP.25]

Mum El and Dad J were already back to London said that they have some things to run and left their Childs in this country alone. Luke said he and his sister want to be a 'real' tourist by traveling the city without anyone that knew this city. I was kind of worry at first but I finally agree with them.

It was June 18th when he called me. I was out of town with my family due to Eid Mubarak, and we were already on our way back to the city.

"I'm lost."

"What? It's not the right time for joking, Lu." I said as I look at the clock saying it was 10 PM.

"I'm not joking, I don't know where we are, and the surrounding is so quiet. I try to find where we are in Google maps but found out that I've never heard about this place. And there's no public transportation to get away from here."

"Then how could you reach that place?"

"We were walking around and then here we are."

"Fuck, I'm still on the highway. I'll be there in an hour or two. Send the location to my WhatsApp and I'll track you."

"I'm sorry I ruined your holiday."

"It's 'kay. We are already on our way back to my home by the way."

"Alright, I love you, Ash, I'll see you soon!"

"Love you too, Lu. Take care of your sister, I'll be there soon."

"Alright, thank hun."

"Yeah fine, bye," I said then hung up.

I speed up the car and we arrived at my house a half hour later. I walked into the house and looking for my car's key. I found it right after that and track their location. It's in the side point of the Central Jakarta, and now I got a little worry with my own self, I've never been to that part of town and I'm scared I can't find them. Fuck Mum El and Dad J would probably kill me if I can't find their Childs.

I drove for another hour and a half before I found two blonde hairs near the river. What the hell are they doing in there? Trying to kill their self or what?

I got out of my car and walked towards them. He saw me and screamed in happiness along with his sister. They both ran towards me and hugged me tightly.

"Fuck Ash, I was so scared. Thanks for saving us!" Ailouzha said, sobbing a little.

"Get inside the car. You both owe me a long explanation." I said motioning them to the car. Ai took the back seat and curled up into a ball. I throw my flannel at her and she thanked me a small smile.

"You know what guys? You got me worried sick. How if I can't find you and your parents asking me? How if you got kidnapped and the kidnapper kill you and sells your organs? How if..." I continue to blabbering all the 'how if's until a loud sob heard. I turned towards Luke and saw him sobbing beside me.
Fuck, just fuck!

He keeps mumbling sorry over and over again and avoiding my eyes. I parked the car on the side road and turning all my attention to him. Ailouzha was fast asleep behind so I grab his face in my hand forcing him to look at me.

"I accept your apology okay? So, please just stop saying sorry over and over again and blaming yourself for this." I said kissing his forehead and let it linger a little.

He hugs me tightly and his sob slowly dying down.

"Take a nap, I'll drive us home and wake you up when we arrive," I said caressing his cheeks. He nodded his head tiredly and lean his head to the window. I drove the car to Jordan's house and walked inside to wake him up.

"Ai and Luke fast asleep in the car. Can you please carry both of them to the bed? I can't feel my body anymore from all those long trip." I said walking in passed him and tossed the car's key to the table.

I made my way to my room and threw myself onto the bed. Minutes later, Jordan walked in with a sleeping Luke in his arm.

"I already put his sister in the other room. Take care of your boy." He said before closing the bedroom door. I pulled the blanket and covered our bodies under it.

I can say that I won't wake up before afternoon once I close my eyes.
