*Lilly's POV*
Ever since I was little and lived in Bondi I new that I would live there forever even if I had to work myself to exhaustion to get there. My biggest dream in life is to Get an apartment overlooking the waves along Bondi Beach and to become one of the Waverley Council professional lifeguards. When my dad was 17, his best friend Bruce Hopkins, or as well call him 'Hoppo', and him joined the lifeguard team sparking his deep fuel to become a pro-surfer.

My dad had travelled the world doing competitions after competitions until he hit 49 and settled down back in Bondi Beach with my two siblings. I was born and raised in Bondi with My dad, Joel Parkinson and my mum, Monica Parkinson. As 14 years went by growing up in Bondi, 3 other kids popped out along the way. My now 18 year old brother James and two other younger sisters Macy, who was 6 now, and Evie ,who was almost 8.

Although, amongst those 14 years in Bondi was my parents divorce. They had been married for almost 20 years when my Mum was caught cheating on my Dad for 15 months with her colleague, Mark, who she is now married to and I now am forced to call my 'Step-father'. He has one younger daughter named Angeline who was the same age as me but acted like a 10 year old. I tried to get along with her but she was always so bratty and rude.

When the divorce happened, my mother took custody over James and I and moved us to Mark's choice of town, Bathurst. Bathurst is a shit hole to put it in a sentence. It is the oldest inland town in New South Wales and you could honestly tell when looking at the old bricked buildings and rusted roofs. I hated it here and new I was moving back to Bondi near my father and siblings with my brother as soon as he graduated high school and was legally allowed to leave home.

I called my dad every week, making sure to talk to Macy and Evie as well so we kept in touch. My dad's house was just down the road from the apartment James and I had gotten. I was so excited to finally start living my dream as my apartment was right on the beach front looking over the whole beach. It wasn't cheap let me tell you that. James and I worked our asses off in the old grocery shop in Bathurst to make enough money to get it.

It was now 9:36am and James and I had cramped our most needed things into his small car to start our 3 hour trip from Bathurst to Bondi. We had clothes and some smaller items of furniture and kitchen appliances with the rest being sent in the next few days with the moving truck.

I looked around my completely empty room feeling somewhat slightly sad to be leaving my hormonal teenage memories behind. I chuckled remembering the time I cried myself to sleep for a week when Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez split up.

"Come on Lil, we've got to get going if we want to set up the apartment before dark" James said barging into my old room. "Okay, okay I'm coming" I said following him down the stairs. My mum didn't care to say goodbye, she was to busy treating Angeline as her child then us. I rolled my eyes at the thought of Angeline but also gaining relief as I realised I would no longer have to sit through her snarky picks and comments.

I slammed the front door shut and hopped into the car. "Let's get out of this shit hole" I heard my brother beside me say as he plugged in his headphones, leaning back in his seat with his eyes closed. I chuckled at him and started my car up, the engine coming to life. I backed out of the driveway, giving my house one last glance before making my way to Bondi.
