~*Harrison's POV*
"Reid?" I asked confused.
My mind was fogging with all different thoughts. Maybe the fathers last name was the same as mine? Maybe she accidentally said that? Was she too busy thinking of me?
"Uhh- Umm. Uh.." she said reaching down to press the elevator button once again.
"Lilly?" I asked facing towards her. "What's her last name?" I said crossing my arms making her look at me from the corner of her eye.
"Jeez these elevators are so slow" she mumbled, loud enough for me to hear her.
"Lilly, why's Heather's last name Reid?" I asked curiously.
"Harrison please I don't want to talk about this" she said beginning to press the elevator button with her thumb furiously.
"Lilly please..." I whispered taking a step towards her, reaching forwards to tilt her chin upwards. She looked up at me, her eyes becoming glossy as she attempted to blink the tears away.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry" she said dropping her head to look down.
"Hey. Hey. Why are you sorry?" I said bending down to look at her.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I didn't know how. I thought it was his" she said putting her head in her hands, shaking her head as if this was a dream.
"Lilly your worrying me. What's going on?" I asked my eyebrows coming together, a mixture of emotions overcoming me. Worry, sadness, confusion, angst.
"Heather.." she said taking a deep breath.
"She's yours" she whispered continuing to look down.
My heart dropped and I could feel the colour out of my face fade. Mine? She was mine?
I felt my breath get thicker my chest rising and falling quickly. I leant again the wall putting my head inside my hands.
I can't believe this. I can't. Believe this.
"I'm so sorry" I whispered.
"What?" She said confused, her head shooting up and walking towards me.
"I'm so sorry I didn't let you explain about your uncle. I'm so sorry I just walked out of your life. I'm so sorry I didn't try harder to find you. I'm so sorry Lilly" I said looking up at her.
"Harrison. Don't you ever say your sorry for any of that again. Yes you didn't let me explain but you thought I had gotten knocked up by another guy. You didn't know what was... really happening. I avoided you and made sure you couldn't find me because I was so scared Harrison" She said holding my hands in her own. Her thumb softly caressing my wrist.
"Scared of what?" I asked.
"Everything. Scared of having a baby at such a young age. Scared of being a single mum. Scared of being alone for ever" she said ranting on.
"I'm glad you finally told me. I wish it was sooner but I'm glad it wasn't when she was a 16 year old teenager" I spoke making her laugh. She looked at me as we just stood there, her soft hands still caressing mine.
"You'd love her" she whispered with a smile.
"I haven't even met her properly yet and I already do" I replied. And in a split second Lilly jumped into my arms hugging me tightly.
"Thank you" she mumbled into my chest.
"For what? Thank you for giving birth to my child" I said placing my chin on top of her head.
"Thank you for not hating us" she spoke making me confused. Us? Then I realised. Heather. Heather was us now. If I wanted Lilly, Heather would come with it. And I was okay with that. I was more than okay with that. I was estancia.
"Did you want to come up and have a coffee or tea?" She asked the elevator doors finally opening.
"Definitely" I replied as we walked into the elevator standing unusually far apart. I glanced at her from the corner of my eye.
*Lilly's POV*
I glanced at him from the corner of my eye biting my lip lightly in nervousness.
All of a sudden, I was pressed up against the elevator wall, my hands being held beside my face, a pair of lips merging with mine.
Familiar memories flooding into my head of when Maxi caught us in the elevator when we just met.
"Fuck it" Harrison whispered as he pulled me towards him kissing me passionately, our lips moving fast against each others as I kissed back. We continued to kiss as the doors opened. "Jump" he mumbled through the kiss as I jumped and wrapped my legs around his waist, him holding myself up by my thighs.
"Wooow... what's going on?"
This felt so much more different, there was so much love and care and need in this kiss. There was of course lust but so much more love. I loved this guy and I never stopped.
His lips pressed against mine making little girl butterflies flutter in my stomach. This is what it felt like.
His lips against mine, forgetting the world around us. Just you, me and the butterflies in my stomach and the sparks I feel every time we touched.
The pace of the kiss slowed down, my arms wrapping around his neck, my fingertips slowly creeping up his hair, brushing my fingers through it softly as his hands slowly slid down on to my waist, then slowly around me. He pulled me closer if it where any more possible.
He pulled away as the door opened onto my floor. Someone could've easily seen us but I didn't care. The way he made me feel was crazy and indescribable.
"I missed you" He said his forehead pressing into mine, my nose brushing against mine softly.
"I missed you too.. so much" I whispered looking up at him smiling widely.
