*Lilly's POV*
I tilted my head in the mirror as I flattened down my dress. I sighed, my nerves over taking me.
I love Harrison and I never stopped and I'm scared that if I do go tonight and do fall for his promises again that he'll end up breaking me once again. And I don't know if I can go through that pain again.
I ran my fingers through my curled hair to loosen the curls into more beach waves.
I wore a red polka dot tie up dress with my black doc marten boots and my lucky gold locket.
As I rescanned my outfit considering whether I should change my shoes or my dress there was a knock at the door.
"Coming!" I yelled grabbing my purse, shoving my phone and keys inside of it before opening the door.
Holy shit.
There stood Harrison in a navy blue suit holding a singular red rose twirling it between his finger tips.
"Hi" I squeaked out all of a sudden feeling like a school girl once again.
"Hello beautiful, this is for you" he said handing me the rose making me blush as red as the petals.
"Thank you, come in and I'll put it inside" I said nervously.
I didn't really need to put the rose away. I wanted Harrison to finally meet Heather as her father.
"Just sit" I said awkwardly pushing his shoulders to sit down making him laugh with a confused look on his face.
"What's going on? What are you doing?" He called out curiously with a cheeky grin on his face as I walked into Heathers room.
"Hey baby" I whispered as I saw Heather standing in her crib holding onto the bars of her cot. She obviously had just woken up by the look of her eyes.
She giggled clapping her hands causing her to fall back on the bed letting out another loud giggle.
I picked her up placing her on my hip.
"Come on baby... you're going to meet someone very special" I cooed as I carried her out to the lounge room.
I walked out watching Harrison's reaction, his smile slowly dropping as he became serious.
I sat beside him as Heather looked at the stranger pulling on my hair lightly.
"She's got your eyes" I whispered as they stared at one another.
"I know" he spoke out shakily. "She's beautiful".
"Heather baby, this is Harrison..." I started to speak. "This is daddy bubba" I said making her head face towards Harrison.
She stared at him for a few seconds before reaching her little hands out towards Harrison.
"She wants you to hold her... is-is that okay?" I asked making him nod his head furiously. Heather wriggled in my arms as she became frustrated with my hold.
