A/N- I made a cast of y'all wanna check it out. It's after the introduction!
~*Lilly's POV*
I feel like I had embarrassed myself completely. Why had I actually been so stupid to think that Harrison had actually liked me. Why did he kiss me then? He must've felt really sorry for me.
I unlocked my door flinging myself inside before sliding down the door with my head in my hands.
"Stupid. Stupid. Stupid" I whispered thumping my head lightly. "Okay crazy girl" I heard my brothers voice from across the other side of the room. I jumped in shock. "I didn't know you were home" I said tears still filling my eyes as I looked up at him.
"What's wrong?" He asked obviously seeing I was upset. "I don't even know. Nothing I can't get through" I said giving him a small smile.
"Was it that Harrison guy?" He asked turning the Tv off. I looked up at him in confusion. "How do you know Harrison?" I asked. "I mean it's pretty obvious, he's been here before, you've slept over his before and I always see you guys out and about. Boyfriend problems huh?" He said shrugging.
"Yeah. No. He has a new girlfriend. We aren't even friends anymore" I said looking down. "Oh... well I'm sure he'll come to his senses soon. And if he doesn't than that's his loss sis" he said patting my shoulder as he made his way to the kitchen.
James and I tended to argue a lot about the stupidest things but it felt good that I still had some family that I could talk to about this stuff.
"I forgot to say, Dad called and wants to come over dinner. I can call him if your not up for it?" He said pouring himself a glass of juice. "No it's okay, seeing family will do me some good" I said giving him an appreciative smile. "Okay cool, I just thought pizza was fine" he said chuckling as I nodded.
I headed into my room, heading for the bathroom. I stripped down and jumped into the shower. Today was rough. I felt as though nothing Harrison and I had done mattered to him anymore. Not the deep talks at night, not the kisses or the laughs.
I groaned dunking my head under the shower to wet my face. I needed to get him out of my head and move on. It'd only been a few days but I'd truly fell for him.
I quickly got out of the shower, just chucking on my matching pyjama set before heading into the lounge room.
"Oh. Hey dad!" I exclaimed giving him a tight hug followed by the twins. "Hey. Have a nice long shower there? We've been waiting for about 20 minutes" he spoke followed by a chuckle. "Yea just had a lot on my mind" I said running a hand through my hair. His smile dropped, "we'll talk after dinner" he spoke seriously.
I gulped lightly. Dad and I had never really had a serious chat about my problems due to living so far away from him.
We spent the rest of the night eating our pizza and catching up on what we'd done since the dinner at the Bucket list.
"James can you get the girls an ice cream, Lilly and I are gonna go have a talk real quick" my dad said standing up as we walked out to the balcony.
I wrapped my jumper I had thrown on me tighter as the beach's strong wind made me cold. I looked out over the water, it looking extremely peaceful.
"I'm not good at this kinda' daughter to dad talk stuff here... I've never done it before" he said chuckling. I let out a small laugh making him frown as I didn't laugh at his jokes like I'd usually done.
I don't know why I was affected to so much.
"Hun, what's wrong? You seem upset? This isn't like you. You barely ate any pizza. You love pizza!" He said making me smile slightly. "It's just this boy..." I mumbled continuing to look out at the horizon.
*Harrison's POV*
I sat on my balcony looking over the peaceful beach for hours just surrounded by my thoughts when I heard talking from the balcony above me. I ignored it until I heard Lilly's name.
Oh shit. This was Lilly's apartment above me.
"It's just this boy..." I heard Lilly's small voice whisper. Was she talking about me? No she couldn't have been. She wanted to be friends.
"Oh. Boy problems. Make this even more tough for me" I heard her dad reply making her chuckle lightly. God I missed her laugh.
With Chloe I didn't find much about her missable like Lilly. Her eyes were a full brown when Lilly's were a light blue, her body was fake with implants yet Lilly was so much more beautiful and she was natural. I don't know why I hurt her.
"Who is it, what'd he do and Do I have to get my boxing gloves out?" I heard her dad say playfully making Lilly giggle but making myself wince in slight fear. I really hoped it wasn't about me now.
"Uhh... it's one of the lifeguard boys- Harrison. We kind of had a thing going on. Well I thought. He got a girlfriend yesterday. I caught him kissing her at Icebergs..." she started as she took a deep breath. I let out a sigh as I realised it was about me.
"I told him we could be friends because he had a girlfriend now.. but he just laughed. We had to work together today and he was just really r-rude" I heard her say stuttering at the end.
"Oh Bub, come here" I heard her dad say as he obviously hugged her.
"He didn't deserve a beautiful girl like you then" he said. I heard small sniffles and a light sob.
Was she crying?
"He really h-hurt me Dad. It was s-so embarrassing" she stuttered out letting out another soft sob.
My heart broke at the thought of her crying. I had caused her this. I was such an idiot. I'd really fucked up big time.
