A Sophitz Fanfiction

~Chapter 4~

How did you like the last chapter? I felt pretty good about it but enough of that time for the story.

He kissed me. Fitz Vacker the elf I'd had a crush on for so long, actually kissed me! The world could've exploded and I wouldn't care. Fitz Vacker actually kissed me! I had no choice but to kiss him back. I didn't have very much experience with this stuff the only other time I did was when I kissed Dex, and that didn't go well at all. This time I felt it went really well. Fitz ran his fingers through my hair and didn't get them tangled like Dex did. This time it felt different, better, much much better. I put my hand on the side of his face and my forehead on his, gasping for breath. He smiled and it was oh so contagious. 

"I've waited for that so long Sophie Foster, I'm glad we didn't get interrupted that time." I smiled, then I responded

"Yeah, Silveny can't interrupt us now" Whoops, boy was I wrong. Silveny, Greyfell, Wynn, and Luna came trotting over to say hi to us. 

SOPHIE FITZ FRIEND HI 

Hi Silveny, Fitz transmitted. Wynn had taken a liking to Fitz and Luna to me. 

"They're getting so big," I said to Fitz, he nodded in agreement. We pet them for a few minutes then decided we should probably go tell Edaline and Grady about, us. I grabbed Fitz's hand, boy I loved holding his hand, and we walked back to my house. Before we could even get to the door Edaline came rushing out squealing and Grady came behind her with a stern expression on his face and his arms crossed. 

"You guys are so cute!" Edaline squealed like the overexcited fangirl she is. 

"So much for privacy" I grumbled, Edaline giggled and Grady scowled. 

"Well?" Edaline asked, "we can see everything but we can't hear everything. Did you talk about the matchmaking office?" I nodded then I looked at Fitz, it was his turn to say something.

"I'm sorry I didn't ask for your permission first but Sophie and I are....... dating." Edaline squealed and Grady's scowl deepened. 

"Well, at least you're more responsible than, that boy," Grady said and gave a slight smile, he pulled everyone into one big hug. Grady pulled Fitz away though to discuss, something that he didn't quite specify on. Probably scolding him and giving him millions of rules. Edaline pulled me away and we began talking. 

"So who asked who?" Edaline asked, she probably wanted all the details. 

"He asked me after I told him about what happened at the matchmaking office." Edaline squealed again. After many awkward questions we joined Fitz and Grady, Fitz was tomato red and Grady looked very pleased with himself. 

"We'll leave you two kiddos alone, but be good" Grady was actually saying that? This day was full of many surprises. 

"Looks like you passed his test," I said and Fitz turned red again but nodded happily.

"Hey, Sophie are you doing anything tonight? I just thought we could go on our first official date," He looked so cute when he was shy like that. I grabbed his hand. 

"Yes, of course, Fitz I would love that." He smiled, and it was just for me and I knew it. 

"So I had one more question Sophie" he started and continued, "how are we supposed to act around our friends and how are we supposed to tell them exactly, I don't want this to ruin our friend group. I know someone will definitely be affected." I was curious who so I asked. 

"I think they should tell you if they want, they might not want to" I didn't want that response but I nodded in agreement. 

"Well I like holding your hand and all so we definitely need to hold hands a lot more, and I think we should just come out and say it. How about at lunch on Monday when we're all together?" I suggested Fitz nodded. 

"Well I should probably get home, I'll tell my parents but I'm just warning you Biana will probably hear and want to tell everyone. Bye" He gave me a hug and held up his pathfinder but turned back to me and kissed me, on the lips. 

"Yeah, I definitely like kissing you." He smiled and let the light sweep him away. 

Now time for me to get ready for my first date.
