____________________________Chapter 10 | SERA
All limbs tangled, exchanging one another's body heat. That's how I wake up the next morning. I can't believe this is happening again. The more I spend a good time with Hyunsik, the more I want to just keep pretending everything's alright between us.
But we can't do that. One way or another, we have to confront each other.
As I look at his face, sleeping peacefully, our words echo in my head.
"Do you want to leave me?"
"God. No. No, I don't."
"Do you?"
"No."
I have said it so certainly that I don't want to leave him and I remember the hint of smile on his lips and how it seems to have changed something between us.
I try to get up but a strong arm wraps around my waist and pulls me back to bed. "Hey! What are you doing?" I ask him, smiling to myself just a little.
Hyunsik smiles lazily and I feel myself melt inside. "Good morning." He says in his deep, scratchy morning voice and plants a soft kiss on my cheek. My heart becomes fuzzy.
"Good morning." I pin my elbow on bed and put my hand under my chin, staring at every inch of his face. "What's our plan today?"
He groans and places a hand on my back, drawing circles there with his thumb. "We didn't do much yesterday. I'll take you to some spots today."
I kind of feel like we're in the honeymoon stage again.
"Okay." I smile and he takes my hand and pulls me closer, kissing my lips lightly.

Hyunsik brings his camera this time. We head to Camellia Hills, where flowers are in full bloom even in winter.
We walk hand in hand in the arboretum. It's strange how everything outside this garden seems to be void of life from winter, but here's a place that feels magical because everything is filled with colors.
I release Hyunsik's hand and study the beautiful red camellia flowers closely. It's my first time seeing them in real life. They're even more beautiful than they were in pictures.
"Sera, look over here." Hyunsik says, aiming the camera at me. I smile for the picture. "My wife is beautiful." He says, smiling and my smile widens. I realize that's the only time I hear the camera shutter.
I look away, blush creeping on my cheeks. Hyunsik keeps taking the pictures. I let him even though my stolen pictures usually look like wack.
We hold hands again, walking in silence along the pathway surrounding red camellia flowers. And more flowers that have fallen on the ground creating a camellia red carpet. "God. It's so beautiful here." I tell Hyunsik who's watching me with that soft look in his eyes. "Let me take your picture." I take the camera and he poses, hands in his pocket. I smile as he poses for a 'stolen' shot. "Huh. You're a natural model." I say. He bursts out laughing, all eye smiles and I love the way he does that. His two eyes forming two crescent moons whenever he smiles. I click the camera several times catching the moment.
