River's POV
I follow the three wolves to a massive four story house. I assume it's a pack house and as we are walking across the lawn I am getting looks of surprise and respect all around. They must know I'm not a were because I see a few pack members sniffing the air and mind linking other members of my arrival. I take another look around and all the wolves are on one knee bowing their heads. I wonder why until I look at the house and see, Chris?! I sniff the air and he smells like an alpha. He looks at me with love and happiness and I smile back at him. The little kids giggle at my wolfy grin and I let my tongue hang out of the side of my mouth for extra cuteness and one of the little girls runs up to me and hugs my neck. "I don't know you but I love you already!" she giggles snuggling into my fur. I mentally 'awe' and wolf kiss her cheek which makes her giggle. She lets go of me and runs to her mom. Her smile gives me a friendly look I look back at the house where Chris is talking, "Fellow members of the lunar eclipse pack, may I present a full wolf and my mate! She will be given the gift to shift into a human to lead my pack along side me as my mate and your Luna!" the entire pack erupts in cheers and applause. I know I should be excited but I can't help but be scared. Will I make a good human? a good Luna? A good mate? I hope so, but at the same time I don't know if I want to be a human...
Here's another chapter! Sorry it took so long and sorry it's so short. I'll make it up with a SUPER long chapter next time. I've been really busy with school and band we had a competition last night and got overall first place in our class!! :D
