Chapter 18: Honey Moon

River's POV
We get on the plane and we take off to the surprise destination. "Chris, where are we going?" he smiles at me. "You'll know soon darling." I lay my head on his shoulder and fall asleep. "River... River wake up we're here." I open my eyes and I see that we've landed. We get off the plane and get our luggage. When we walk outside I take a good look around. "Chris where are we?" he smiles, "My love we are in Hawaii." Oh wow. It's really pretty here. We rent a car and go to the private house that we'll be staying at. We go inside and it's very nice. Both of us go into the master bedroom and the bed has a mahogany bed frame and plush white blankets and pillows. I put my suit case down and plop down on the bed. Chris smiles and shakes his head. That night we make sweet passionate love. The next morning we both get up and get dressed. After breakfast we go down to the beach. Which is right out the back door. I lay my towel down and take off my cover up. Chris and I go down to the water. I go under to scare him. "River? River where are you??" he's frantically searching when I jump on his back like a monkey. "River, you scared me." I kiss his cheek. "I'm sorry my love." we spend some more time at the beach then go back to the house. We shower and change for dinner. I am wearing a multi colored maxi skirt and a black shirt with black sandals. I put my hair up in a bun and some light makeup. Chris has on some black dress pants and a white collared shirt and some black dress shoes. "You look beautiful." I blush slightly "Thank you. You look very handsome." He grabs my hand and we go out to the car and go to the restaurant. It's very fancy. We go inside and are seated quickly. I'm looking over my menu and I notice Chris is staring at me. "Yes?" I ask with a small grin. "I just can't believe I got to marry you. My soul mate." I hold his hand across the table. The waiter comes by and takes our order. When he leaves I look at Chris. "How long do we get to stay here?" "A couple more days. I left Jake in charge and I know I can trust him but we will need to go back to the pack sooner or later." I smile. "I'm good with later." We both laugh and the waiter brings our food and drinks. We eat and fall into a comfortable conversation. After dinner we go walk on the beach. I take off my sandals and hold them in one hand and hold Chris's hand with the other. After awhile of walking we go back to the house. I change into pajamas and take my makeup off then lay down on the bed. Chris comes over and pulls me close to him. We fall asleep in each other's arms...

The next day

Chris's POV

I wake up and my beautiful mate is sleeping peacefully in my arms. I breath in her scent. Mmm. She smells like the woods and honey suckles. There's a different smell too. Lilac? That's weird. It smells good though. Deciding that I will bring my mate breakfast in bed I climb out of bed an go into the kitchen. Looking around I find bacon, eggs and the stuff for blueberry french toast. When I'm done I put it all on a tray and take it to the bedroom. I set it on the night stand and kiss River's cheek. "Wake up my love. I made breakfast." Her beautifully blue and brown eyes flutter open. "Good morning my handsome mate." I kiss her and set the tray across her lap. We eat breakfast and spend the whole day in town we go into a couple of shops and I get a blue Hawaiian shirt and River gets a necklace with and orange hibiscus charm for Sarah and a necklace with a palm tree for herself. I also get a green Hawaiian shirt for Jake. When we go back to the house it's pretty late we make dinner at the house and watch movies. We both fall asleep on the couch.

The next day...

It's our last day in paradise. We are catching a late flight out so we can have a little more time in paradise.

River's POV

For or last day in paradise Chris and I go out to breakfast and spend the day on the beach. When it starts to get dark out we got to this luau on the beach. The give us Hawaiian puffy necklaces and fake grass skirts. We put them on and go watch the fire juggler. After a while we go back to the house and take the luau stuff off and I put on some black sweats and a blue shirt. Chris puts on some cargo short and a white shirt. We both put on shoes and pack our bags. We turn in the car at the airport and go check in for our flight. I fall asleep on the airplane before we even take off...
