Chapter 13: Date night

River

I'm sitting in mine and Chris's room at my make up table and I can't figure out what I want to wear for our date tonight. When as if right on cue Sarah comes into my room. "Hey! What are you sitting there for? We need to get you ready" she goes into my closet and starts looking for an outfit, but not before tossing me my white bath robe and saying, "Go take a shower!" I laugh at her silliness and go take a shower. When I come out she has my clothes on the bed and I put them on. She put me in a tank top, a sparkly blouse, some skinny jeans and my favorite boots. Then I sit down and she does my hair and makeup. When she's done my long blonde hair is in a fishtail braid that goes down to the bottom of my rib cage. I know my hair grows really fast. My makeup is nude and natural colors but it still looks awesome! I stand up and hug her. "Thank you so much!!!" she laughs and we walk out of the room "now go get your man!" I giggle and walks down the stairs to see my gorgeous mate wearing black jeans and a white polo shirt. 'Yum.' I hear my wolf say 'you took the words right out of my mouth.' We both giggle and I hug my mate.

Chris

I am currently waiting in the living room for my beautiful mate when I smell her sweet scent. I turn around and she looks breath taking. Her long hair is in a braid and those jeans look awesome! I stop my thoughts from going further an go up and hug her. "You look beautiful." 'Yum.' I hear my wolf say. I internally role my eyes and escort my gorgeous mate to my black jeep Cherokee. We are driving down the road and it seems kinda quiet so I turn on the radio and on comes 'My Eyes' by Blake Shelton (btw amazing song!!).

I turn the car off as we park at the restaurant. I'm holding River's hand and her eyes glisten with un shed tears of happiness as sang softly to her. "I love you, River." "I love you too." she looks at me and I kiss her soft pink lips sweetly. When we pull away we get out of the car and go in to le petite Italie. (I don't know if it's a real restaurant or not.) the Italian food here is to die for. We go inside and are seated at a very nice booth. "Hello, welcome to the little Italy what can I get for you?" I look up from my menu and I see a girl with obviously fake blonde hair and too much makeup and her shirt is pretty low cut. "I'll have a water please." River says not noticing what the girl is trying to do. "Um... okay." The waitress says kinda annoyed. "Now, what can I get you?" she says in a sickeningly-seductive voice that makes me internally cringe. "I'll have water too." I say ignoring her attempt to flirt with me. She writes it down and walks away. But not before shooting River a death glare. After she leaves River and I have easy conversation and the waitress comes back with our drinks and takes our food orders then walks away. Weird. She didn't hit on me or glare at River. "Chris?" I look up at River "Yes?" she looks kinda worried "I'm worried about everything that is going on." I hold her hand from across the table. "River, it's going to be okay. I promise." she smiles at me and I'm about to say something just as a waiter comes with our food. That's weird. Where's the girl? 'Hey River. Read that guys mind.' she looks at him closely then back at me. 'He's thinking about the really underdressed snobby waitress that just got fired.' 'Good. She needed to be fired.' We eat our dinner and have comfortable chat. Until the waiter comes out with two glasses of champagne and a piece of chocolate cake. "To us." We clink our glasses together and she's about to drink hers when she something in her glass. She gets a fork and fishes it out. "Chris, what is this?" I take the object out of her hand and stand up. I then get on one knee and she looks confused as to what is going on. "River. I promise to love you forever and be faithful to only you forever. But first things first. Will you be my wife?" everyone in the restaurant 'awwes' and some are videoing and takin pictures. "Yes!!!" she throws her arms around my neck and kisses me passionately. When we break away everyone is cheering. I slide the ring on her finger. It's a silver infinity ring with the word love enscripted in the infinity sign and our names engraved on the inside of the band. She cries tears of joy and we kiss again. After I pay the bill we leave the restaurant and go home... Once we get there we go straight to the room and undress each other then have another night of absolute love.
