Another on edge day at the facility was coming to an end. Itkin was sitting on a bench in one of the main hallways watching with a father-like expression the two SCPs that were rolling around the hallways. SCP-131-A and B were allowed to freely roam Site-19, so long as they behaved. They were little teardrop-shaped creatures. Most personnel here called them Eye-Pods. They were both very energetic and enjoyed the company of the passing scientists.

The two little pods each had one blue eye and each one had a distinct color. 131-A was a burnt orange color while B was a mustard yellow. They made little chirping sounds and often high-pitched babbling. The two little pods chirped and twirled around Dr. Itkins feet as he stood up and followed him to his office. The sped off in front of him when they saw Dr. Clef waiting by the office door.

"Ah, Clef! Nice seeing you here?" Itkin swiped his keycard and once the door opened wide enough the two Eye-Pods squeezed their way into the office. Both doctors laughed and walked in. Itkin sat at his desk and motioned for Clef to sit in one of the chairs on the other side of him. Clef felt like he was back in the principal's office.

He was brought out of his thoughts when the other asked him a question. "What brings you down here? You're usually dealing with the Euclid SCPs and stressing over the Keters back at your Site." Clef laughed slightly.

He took a sip of the coffee that was previously unnoticed in his hand. "999 ran off to a Site it shouldn't have gone to. Once we got it back I went on a well-needed break, and I decided why not come visit you? I can actually talk to you here."

Itkin put his hand up to his chest and acted like he was surprised by the words Clef said. "You came here for me? Really? Who would've thought!" They both cracked up and continued to talk about interviews and tests from their corresponding Sites. After a few minutes, they came to a comfortable silence, Clef continued to drink his coffee and Itkin looked over some of his papers.

Suddenly, Clef looked at Itkin. "How many days has it been?" Itkin looked at him with confusion. "Since what?" He resumed looking over the notes he took while watching an interview with 035.

Clef again started to rub the back of his neck. "Since. Since the last breach?" Itkin looked up at him with an intrigued smile. However, as if the word itself were cursed, both jumped at the sound of the breach alarms blaring from the speakers. The intercoms blasted through the facility.

"We Are Experiencing Multiple Keter and Euclid Level Containment Breaches, Full SIte Lockdown Initiated."

Itkin looked at Clef with urgency. "I would say the time would be now." He grabbed the walkie-talkie from his desk and took Clef by the arm. Making sure the Eye-Pods were with them, they sped off down one of the many hallways in hopes of finding someone else to help them get to safety.

Itkin angerly dragged Clef with him, the Pods following close behind. He was mumbling something. Clef looked more worried for him than ever. "Elijah? Are you alright?"

"It had to be today."

OOF! That went from 0 to 100 fast. This was awesome to write and I have been stressing so hard trying to get my facts right for this story because I really don't need the fanboys coming at me with shit like "This isn't right!" and bullshit like that. Also. Plague Boi and Gay Theatre Hoe will be here momentarily! I may have slipped some Clef x Itkin in there but HEY, Who cares! Anyway, that you all so much for staying here and hope to see you all in the next chapter. That one should be a bit better. Love ya all!
