This chapter may get a little sad, a little worth a small cheer and it might get "aww" worthy. But there just might be some turn around in here! This book is fun to write and I'm glad so many are enjoying it.

Little something to listen to, it's over an hour long so when ur done reading you can go onto the next.

He couldn't believe what he just saw. One moment they were on their way to freedom, then he turned around and his friend was being pulled into the floor. All he did was watch as Alto yelled his name, in hopes that he would've actually done something. Elijah slumped to the floor, the eye pods nudging his sides with sad chirps and purrs towards the doctor.

They had little chance of getting out, Alto still had the Navigator on him. The best the small group could do now is wander and hope. Star was sniffing around the hallway while Josie stayed with Elijah. She was enjoying the small pats and scritches she was getting from him.

"I can't believe myself." Elijah smiled half heartedly at the half cat on his lap as she purred and nuzzled his arm, sometimes licking his fingers when he tried to pet her head. "You seem to be enjoying yourself." He stood up and Josie made a jump for the floor.

They had to keep moving, they couldn't risk another run in with any SCPs. Especially since they had no idea where they were going. Doctors were assigned certain SCPs that were all on the same floor as to make it easier to get from one to the other, only when there were interviews did they ever possibly leave the floor they were given.

Onward they were forced to march, they needed to move swiftly and quietly. Who knew what could be out and about now? They continued walking for about an hour, though it felt like years, before they heard something like underwater purring behind them.

Star turned around and started barking at the hallway behind her, even if she was almost blind. Elijah cautiously walked back to the hallway they passed, and was tackled to the ground by a blurr of orange. He was laughing as he hit the floor with withal dull thud. "999! Please stop!" His laughter cut him off as the energetic blob continued to tickle the poor doctor.

-Pocket Dimension-

He was running for his life in this dark and twisted maze. Trying to desperately to find a way out, it had been done before. Twice. And both the doctor and the D-Class were terminated due to psychosis and symptoms of mental illness with yet successful cures.

But he wanted to get out of hear and see Elijah again. Maybe that was the only thing keeping him from collapsing to his knees. His legs were ready to break and his lungs felt like they were full of red hot magma.

He only knew so much before he was lost, this place was a foggy image of the Foundation halls. And he knew the floors above ground level well. He could navigate the halls with ease and- "Holy shit! The Navigator!" He reached for the coat pocket on his left and found it somehow working and intack. "Oh sweet Jesus thank you." He pushed a few buttons and punched a few numbers and letters and soon he was walking to the door of a supply closet, the same one they saw when he was dragged into the wall to this...hellspawn.

He was gonna get out of hear even if it DID drive him mad. He wasn't going to spend his life here. He couldn't breathe with the dense fog in the air, and no way in hell was he gonna let... THAT... happen again. Ever. He lightly touched his lips and winced. They still burned from when that thing robbed him of a kiss. Yeah, he wanted out ASAP.

"Oh come on now my love~ You can only run so far..." His heart dropped to where his stomach should be, his stomach was on the ground. He ran as fast as his legs would allow, trying his damndest to not make a single wrong turn.

Eventually, he found the door and flung it open with all his might. He was met with an unpleasant face and shrieked in fear, falling on his backside. 'That's gonna hurt tomorrow. If I make it there.' His thoughts were cut short from his pounding head when he was manhandled from the collar of his shirt and lifted from the ground. Alto wouldn't admit it in front of this thing, and tried not to show it, but he was terrified of it.

"Now I'm not very fond of my toys running off like that. Especially after a very one sided love confession, Doctor~" To Alto, this was a nightmare come true. He despised 106 with everything he had in him. He was disgusted to say the least. But, deep down, there was a small flame burning in him. Telling him to fight, the whisper in the back of his head. He was starting to listen.

As he hung almost limp in the SCPs grasp, he started to struggle against it. It didn't go unnoticed, however. "Calm down love, your not leaving that easy~" The SCP cooed, but he wasn't listening. He was paying attention raging fire in his chest telling him to fight. And darn was he going to set this place ablaze.

He took a deep breath, and with as much force as he could get from his tired legs, he brought his knees to his chest and just about folded the SCP with a kick where it's ribcage should be. Something like a cry of pain and anger came from it's mouth as it dropped Alto to the floor. He turned and Ran.

Ran for his Life.

Ran to Freedom.

Ran to his Friend.

He jumped through the open door in hopes that it didn't lead to a wall with supplies and was met with something soft, but got the wind knocked out of him when both him and whatever he hit fell back to the floor with a thud and a pained "Unf!" He sat up, gasping for the air previously stolen from his lungs.

He was, however, only suffocated further by the bone-crushing hug he was yanked into. Only when he heard the happy yips of a dog and the chirping of something yellow and orange did he realize where he was. He also realized why he could feel his spine ready to break in two.

"E...Elijah... I can't... ow... can't breathe!" He quickly smacked his friends arm desperately in rapid succession before he could feel his spine resetting itself and his lungs inflating. He was happy to back where he belongs. In the correct dimension. With, well, with his family. "Sorry. Just- holy shit are you okay?!" Alto's confused stare was met with one of concern.

His face became red when Elijah light traced his bottom lip with his thumb. He seemed too worried and angry to notice. "What did that thing DO to you?" Alto was snapped out of his rather disappointing and disgusting thoughts when he felt the slight sting of the burns under Elijah's thumb on the side of his mouth.

He must have been too worried about getting out to remember that he was burned just about everywhere that thing touched him. "Oh, this? It uhm... it grabbed my mouth to shut me up?" Thankfully, his tone of question towards his own lie went unnoticed. But the burns on his chest and arms didn't. Soon, Elijah was just about giving Alto a full body inspection. His ears went hot when Elijah examined the burns on his back from the SCP.

"I'm sorry, Alto."

He watched as the man in question whipped around with a look of bewilderment. "Sorry? What is there to be sorry for?" Oh, if only he could just tell him. Sorry for not being the best of friends, for not being there for him, for liking you, for watching you get ripped away from me just now. "I'm sorry I didn't do something to stop 106 from taking you."

The hall was silent. It wasn't the most comfortable, but it was somewhat content. Somewhat. "Don't be sorry. Please. I'm amazed enough that you still ran after me before I disappeared completely." He laughed a little. Elijah felt better just hearing that, even if it wasn't the truest laugh he's heard from his friend.

It was still something he could cherish. Something he could love.
