Just jump right into it.

They had found new batteries for the Navigator, but only after they had gone the wrong way. So now they were backtracking in hopes of getting back to where they needed to be. So far, they haven't had any trouble. After 939, they were able to run like hell and get away without getting eaten. They needed somewhere to sleep, both Alto and Elijah were worn out from dealing with the very few things they encountered.

They had run into Josie the cat again as well as Star, the energetic little corgi. The Eye Pods refused to leave Alto's side. "There! The elevator is broken! We could sleep in there?" The group walked, rolled and trotted over to the partially closed doors to elevator. It wasn't going anywhere and the doors were just wide enough for all of them to get in. It was cozy, but no crowded.

"Alto, your our map out of here, sleep. I'll make sure everything stays quiet like this." Clef wanted to complain, tell his friend that he doesn't have to worry about him. Sleep was starting to get to him though, slowly pulling his eyes closed. "Elijah...I-" he yawned and squinted his eyes. "I'm fine! Look at me, don't I look okay?" He only got a chuckle in return.

He put his hand lazily up to his chest as if he were insulted. "You can't even be snarky correctly, sleep." Itkin smiled at Clef and turned his attention back to the door. Soon, everyone but Itkin was asleep. He decided that the halls were safe and sat next to Clef. Before he could even close his eyes he felt Clef rest his head on his shoulder, still asleep. It gave Itkin a stupid and goofy smile. Eventually he too fell asleep.

It only felt like they got eight minutes of sleep before they were all rudely awakened by the screams of something so familiar it took the doctors a few seconds to actually render the danger in their heads. When it finally clicked that it was the screams of 096, they were up and out of the elevator in an instant.

If it chose to look into the elevator while they were in there then they would never get out of here. "So, everyone heard that I'm assuming?" Itkin looked at Clef, who nodded with uncertainty clear in his eyes. They would have to figure out where it was and how to avoid it. They took off down a hallway that they hoped would lead them in the right direction.

As they walked, they could hear faint voices. They sounded hushed, like they were trying to sooth something or someone. As they continued to walk, the voices grew hushed and it sounded like whoever it belonged to was walking away. The doctors would have followed after, but the noticeable sniffles and hiccups kept them in the dark of the hallway until they were sure they were undetectable.

There was one thing that Itkin felt sick to his stomach about as they turned to walk in the opposite direction of whatever SCP's went the other way - the unmistakable accent of SCP-049 was down the hallway with what could only be assumed as SCP-096 and someone, no,  something else. He felt uneasy knowing that they all could have had their guts torn from their midriff if they hadn't waited in the hallway for the SCP's to pass.

He was relieved that they were still walking, but his relief was short lived as he heard Clef just about scream from behind him. Itkin whipped himself around only to come face to face with SCP-106. Again. He fell back, and noticed that Clef was trying to squirm out of the grip of the SCP's decaying hand. "Let me Go!"

His attempts to free himself were only in vain, the SCP chuckled at the little human in front of him. He found it cute that the doctor thought he would listen to a puny mortal being like him. Still, he gave the little scientist some credit. He was still trying to fight his way out of his grip, his hand now slightly burning into that perfectly smooth skin.

"Oh, you naive little doctor. When will you learn? I will never let you go~"

Alright cool. I know this one is short but I used all my brain cells on the last chapter so I am out of brain power. But we get to see Josie and Star now! And a cliffhanger with Larry being possessive of Dr. Clef... I am honestly sorry I just can't think anymore I need sleep. Love you and hope you liked this pile of trash.
