I want this to be kinda wholesome so there isn't gonna be too much sad stuff in this one. Thank you all so much for getting this book to over 4,000 readers! I may as well earn some money for this so Watty's 2019, please, I have to pay for my mortgage.

The three were silent for the duration of the walk. Until they ran into a group of D-Class, which Shy didn't let go unnoticed. Soon, it became the Doctor and his companion again. "I was starting to wonder when that happy story would end."

The Mask sighed and looked ahead of him. He trailed behind the Doc in order to not get left behind ANOTHER time. "I would say it was too good to be true," the Doctor stopped to stare at the man behind him. "But that is too overused, I'm afraid."

Even if he couldn't see it, The Mask could tell he was smiling. His eyes were half-lidded and wrinkled upright at the edges. He beckoned for the Doc to continue walking, he wanted out of this place. They came too close to a couple Nine Tailed Foxes earlier with Shy on a rampage. But now they seemed to be going in a circle, even if these baren halls all did look the same. He was starting to get claustrophobic the longer he stared at them, trapped.

That's when they both heard a small mewl behind them. They turned around to find the little cat in half near one of the many halls they had passed. The Doctor must have missed her, for she was quite a few halls back. Perhaps she was there after they walked past? "Greetings little friend."

He knelt down as she trotted up to him, awaiting the pats she knew she would receive. She could also smell the treats he was currently carrying. She mewled and purred under his hand and soon started sniffing at his robes.

"Ah, there is no hiding anything from you I see." He pulled a small fish shaped cookie out from some hidden pocket and gave it to the eager feline, who took it the moment it was close enough for her to grab it.

After a little while, both of the SCP's heard someone calling for the kitty. When they rounded to corner, the Doctor recognized one, and the Mask grew annoyed when he saw the other. "0-049! What are you doing with 035 out here?" Elijah had dealt with him before, sure. But that was with guards and the feeling of safety. Now? He would be lying if he said he wasn't ready to turn tail and run.

"Why good doctor, we are sight seeing." The SCP gestured to the gray walls around them. Apparently, neither doctor caught wind of the sarcasm that was in front of them, causing the Mask to try his best to stifle his laughter when Dr. Clef spoke.

"This place isn't really a first choice for that, is it?" There was an inaudible sigh from the Doctor, only heard by the anomaly currently giggling to himself behind him. His actions only made his laughing worse.

"What is so funny 035?" Dr. Clef looked suddenly offended and annoyed. The SCP in question only continued to try and calm himself. He was pretty sure he had the Doc smiling a little now as well. "Oh, the comedy gold in this hallway! Too much, even for me!" He continued, and failed at trying to silence his snickering. There was a light hum of amusement from the Doctor as he turned to his companion.

He admired how the Mask could be so childish sometimes. It was starting to rub off on him, he could feel the laughter caught in his throat. "You are aware that my sarcasm has surpassed you, yes?" He looked more to Clef, who now realized what he did that was found so funny by his least favorite anomaly.

He turned to his side to see Elijah was now laughing with the SCP. "Shut Up!" Alto hit him on the arm, which didn't help either of the two laughing at all. The Mask thought he even heard a small chuckle from the Doc.

"Hm, well. I am afraid this little get together must end, we have business to attend to." The Doctor grabbed his companion by the arm and turned to keep walking. "Wait!" Elijah called after the two before they disappeared behind a corner. Alto looked at him as if he never knew him. "What are you doing?!" He whisper shouted.

Elijah looked at Alto with a face that could only mean 'trust me' before looking back up at the two at the other end of the hall. "You called, good doctor?" 049 seemed to be judging the two doctors, as far as 035 could tell. They were stuck in what felt like something similar to movie suspense. The air was getting a little harder to breathe.

"Let us follow you." Alto couldn't believe the words that just came out of his friends lips. He was taken aback. 035 seemed to feel the same energy from the doctor. "Sorry, but we have to deal with our own shit." He grabbed 049 and tried to pull him down the hall.

However, he was much stronger, and took his arm back with ease, setting 035 slightly off balance from the unexpected force. Alto smacked Elijah on the arm again and whispered sternly at him. "What the hell are you thinking!? You expect me to follow either of those things?! You got some nerve I swear-"

He was hushed by Elijah putting a finger to his lips. Alto gave him a mean stink eye before he realized why he was refrained from talking. The Two SCPs were currently bickering quite loudly with each other at the end of the hall. It was... aw hell, It was hilarious. It sounded like a married couple were arguing.

And if you didn't know that you were listening to two potentially very dangerous entities that could take your life like a rug under your feet, that is exactly what you would think you were listening to.

"035 would you listen to me and shut your mouth!" They just started up, but it sounded like they were in this too deep to stop. "No! I am not letting someone who could easily have us locked up again walk around with us like we were all 'buddy-buddy' about shit for years!" The Doctor felt annoyed, the Mask felt betrayed. "I am aware of the dangers of letting them pursue us but you must consider the other side of the story 035! They may also want to leave this hell prison as much as us!"

"I don't trust them for a damn second!"

"Your going to have to today, 035!"

"I can't believe this! You were only inspired by this place because you were curious!-"

"035 please..."

"-Then they treated you like shit and now you have your chance to leave! But you want to waste it because you think you trust a pair of doctors?"

"035 think about this! We-"

"What Has Gotten Into You?!"

And that was the end of it. He couldn't believe that the one he thought he could trust, thought he could go so far as to love, was going to turn around and welcome someone who wronged both of them into his arms. 035 turned and continued on his way to freedom, leaving the only friend he had in this hellhole behind. Both of them were hurt, but neither would admit to that.

049 took a step forward. He wanted to chase after him. He felt like he needed to say sorry. But before he could go any further a hand was placed on his shoulder. "Leave him some time alone. Going after him now will make things worse." Elijah stood behind the broken doctor. He took a risk himself putting his hand on the entities shoulder, but he didn't really care.

He understood what 049 was feeling, as odd as it sounds. "Thank you, doctor." Elijah felt empathy for him when he heard the pain in his voice. "I would hug you, 049, but I think that would be quite literally overkill." He hoped he could get some positive reaction from the SCP, and was glad to hear a small chuckle from him.

He stood up straight, he didn't notice his posture had been reduced to a slouch. Alto gave him a small smile, to which he returned. He laughed to himself, however, when he realized neither could see it. "Don't worry 049,"

"We'll get him back."

I said I wasn't gonna do too much sad stuff but here we are! So, now the groups are together, but we have lost 035. FOR NOW! You never know. But, 035 doesn't trust the doctors, 049 does. Will this affect their relationship??? WHO KNOWS??? Stay tuned for the next update! LUV YOU GUYS!
