Not gonna hold you back, read on my friends.

035, he was speechless. It felt like he just found his fantasy prince. Good god was he a mess, the color of his face wildly contrasting with his mask. It felt like his face was on fire. The Mask was admittedly a little jealous that he wouldn't get his new look until tonight, and that his Doctor looked so much better then him now. But he had to focus. Even if 049 was usually his main priority.

"You haven't said anything, it does look quite horrible doesn't it?" He was snapped out of his thoughts when he heard that question. It rang in his ears and stung like a spider bite. Looking up, 049 stood over him with a dull, yet somewhat sad expression. As quickly as his head rush would let him, he sprang to his feet and gripped the doctors shoulders.

He almost lost himself in those golden eyes again. "Doc, you look absolutely stunning. I don't think there are any words to describe this. I- god. You look perfect." Both of them stared at each other for a little bit, neither really knew what to say now. The silence was nice, and 049 took advantage of it. The Mask soon found himself in a warm hug, and with all the love in his rotten heart, he hugged desperately back.

The sound of white noise made all of them jump.  All accept Elijah, who had turned on the TV in the room. 035 laughed at Clef, who only turned to dig his face into the other scientists shoulder blade. The muffled "shut up," Was all the SCP needed to continue laughing. They all sat down to watch what was on the screen.

"Holy hell, Elijah- that's Us!" Clef pointed to the pictures that the news woman was talking about on the TV. It was definitely them, they were on the fucking news. And that only put the two anomalies in more danger, no one knew who they were or what they do. They needed to put that aside though, other things mattered now. It came down to food and better shelter.

049 was busying himself with the golden crucifix around his neck, the soft buzz of the cross gliding along the chain was only noticeable to him. Apparently, it also didn't go unnoticed by the other SCP next to him. "Something wrong?" He whispered to the man next to him, who jumped a little at the feeling of his hands being closed in the others grasp.

He sighed and looked up with a small smile, the other glad he could finally see it. "I suppose I am just, oh, wary. I don't like others seeing my face." It was then he realized he spoke a little to loudly over his hushed tone. The other two had heard and briefly looked over before they turned and stared. Clef rushes over and in an uncharacteristic moment, cupped the cheeks of the anomaly. "Your face is so pretty!" Was all he said before 035 yanked his hands of of the Doctor.

He showed tragic disgust, jealousy rising in his chest like an angry dragon.  Elijah laughed at him for it. "Calm down now. You do look nice, 049." There came a small blush from the recipient of the compliments. He wasn't used to this, but he wanted to be. It felt, for a change, nice.

Soon enough, the horizon swallowed up its sunny dinner and slept in the light of the stars. The neighborhood around the Hotel Inn. grew steadily quiet. Lights turned off one by one, and street lamps flickered to life down the streets. The sound of car engines soon faded, signaling the end of a long day for anyone and everyone. Those who needed it, laid down to rest their heads. Ready for tomorrow, they hoped.

The group of four decided they would join the quiet party, and lay with the moon in the blanket of black skies. There were only two beds within the room they chose, so they took to pair up with their respective partners. It would be a little weird if they didn't. The two scientists were quite normal about it, having had to do this once before on a previous breach that now seemed like a forever ago.

Good nights were exchanged between them and they each took a side, decided off rock-paper-scissors for the wall side of course. The other two, however, were rather awkward about it. Neither of them had shared a bed with anyone. 049 had a bed of course, but 035 didn't. Why would a mask need a bed? The most he had was a lavish pillow in a glass case. Velvet red, it was. Nice, yes, but it was still different having the full set.

Eventually, 035 decided he didn't want to make the other uncomfortable and took it upon himself, in a whisper, that he would sleep above the covers. He also found it best to leave the jumpsuit on for now, but remembered something and shook Clef out of his half-asleep daze. "I need my body!" Was all he said. The other jumped from the bed, holding his temple to ease the headrush, and grabbed his coat.

"I'll be back. Don't wait for me." He waved and closed the door. There was a sigh from someone in the room. Silence fell on all of them once again. A sigh cane from 035's side of the room and he realized as he mentally facepalmed, he woke 049. "Sorry Doc." Was all he could whisper.

He got no response verbally, however, he did get a physical one. Pale hands made a grabbing motion in the air and flopped down to the bed after a couple of motions. The Mask laughed and walked over to the Doctors side of the bed, unprepared for the strength that would pull him down into the sheets. A sound like a child's whine was what he heard, muffled from the pillows.

"Stay here, it's much too cold in this room." A small, warm kiss was planted on his cheek from the Doctor beneath him, and he decided that there was no way out of this. Without any further complaints, he fumbled to get under the covers and secure his Doctor in his arms.

"See you in the morning."
