Thank you all for sticking with me through this. It's not quite over yet so don't worry. I might have another book after this for when they actually manage to settle down somewhere. What do y'all think?

Also, 049s robes? Cloak? IDK anymore- but he can take that off too. Should have said that earlier.

The breeze felt nice as they walked through the trees. Each was hoping to find somewhere where they could actually have a bed and something to eat. Without questioning if it would make them purge later.  Alto pushed the hair from his face as they came to a small clearing. He hissed in pain and clasped a hand over his forehead. "What did you do?" Elijah turned to him and laughed. Clef turned and with a slight smile he spoke. "I forgot about my other eye."

They both shared a laugh before falling into a comfortable silence. Elijah thought about the other doctors he had met and made friendships with at the Facility. He wondered how Bright was taking this. He worried a little bit for Gears, he was always a jumpy fellow. He heard Alto sigh and turned to his side. "Something else bothering you?" The other nodded and smiled slightly. "Left my gun in my office."

They smiled at each other before Elijah started laughing a little "Left Ol' Betsy huh?" Clef made a noise of disgust at the name, but laughed after. He pushed Elijah to the side gently and sighed. "Don't ever call my gun 'Betsy' again." It was special. He couldn't quite remember where he got it from or how long ago he got it, but he knew he loved it.  And yet he was dumb enough to forget it.

Quite a few meters away, the two SCPs were looking for twigs to start a fire later. Nothing too big, they didn't want to be discovered so soon. The group had decided it was batter to move by night, under the cover of the trees in the dark. "Think this is enough Doc?" 035 turned to his doctor with an armful of twigs, each with a different length and width. They looked like they were gonna fall out of his arms. Too heavy for the arms of his host.

"Goodness me 035, you don't need the whole forest!" The sound of the metallic chuckle rang in the Masks ears, the porcelain cheeks dusted purple. His arms were awkwardly holding the twigs, some falling to the soft grass at his feet. "I just wanted to make sure...y'know?" Even if his sentience was in the mask, behind it was each expression of emotion on the hosts face as he talked. The ever so faint outline of its lips as he talked through the host could be seen in the mouth opening of the porcelain.

The Doctor heaved a content sigh and continued his walk through the trees. He figured they could at least have something to eat, so he made it his own task to find some wild berries. Being a man of medicine, he would easily know if they could actually eat them without getting sick. "I'm gonna meet back up with you, gonna go drop these off back at the opening." He turned just in time to see 035 lose himself in the overgrowth back to the other scientists. He waited a while before he heard someone yell, and someone else laugh and cheer. Guessing he made it back, he continued his search for food.

"035 GO AWAY!" Clef shouted and tried to push the SCP back into the bushes he emerged from. His face was red to the point where it looked unhealthy. 035 laughed and grabbed the other in a weird, one sided hug. "I caught you two smoochin'!" He held out the 'o' to taunt Alto even more. Elijah pinched the bridge of his nose, but a smile was ever present on his face. Along with the slight redness of his cheeks. He was holding back his laugh while listening to Clef yell at the anomaly to put him down. He was only rewarded with being squeezed and humorously bounced around by the other.

The doctor couldn't help but laugh to himself as he heard what was happening while making his way through the bushes. He could hear both 035 and Elijah laughing and quite an angry Clef as he pushed aside a bundle of vines. "Having fun, I presume?" He stood next the other SCP, who was trying his honest best to stop snickering. Alto whipped his head around and huffed. He stormed away to sit behind a tree. Not far enough to be out of earshot of the group, but far enough to give him some space.
