What it is when you don't want the white knight standing in the corner
Held back only by the walls and all which has forlorn her
Back turned staring out the window wishing she had a warnerWhat's the point of life when you're unhappy, you try to deal
Looking to be content, forced to conceal
Just getting by, the demons inside that try to change what you feel
Sitting numb and confused and try to avoid what is realAre you crazy? Who will save you? Don't ask.
You tell yourself, hiding from the world behind a mask
Inadvertently you bask in delusion of your dreams that you hold vast
Never letting go If it's the last thing you do, your final taskIt's not your fault when all you seek is freedom, floating in the wind
Sometimes life is unfair in Rob's you from your choices deep within
But life goes on, so you redirect your goals and shoot for another win
Now your children can have what you were denied, so that a better life can begin
