I feel free as can be
There's no harm in being friends
At least that's the way it would seem
When your feelings changed
It got to me
Put me on the spot
Had me wanting to leave
It seems we're both selfish as seen from afar
Because you're in love but can't hear no
Hurts you, I want to be as we are
There's no compromise and it shows
But I can see things as they are
And so far it's not fair
The pressure has risen high
Now the matters beyond compare
You left me being the one to break it
Another selfish act
It's clear now we won't make it unless I fake it
You know the answer for a fact
I'm sorry
I'm in love with who we are
No matter what it is
Loving all the things that we do
I'm not in love with you
Just loving what we do
It's selfish but I can't help it
I said I'm sorry, but that's what I choose
