Had a rough time in your life
Unsure of knowing what you're worth
With so many people falling as they tread upon the Earth
When you got plenty on your mind but no one to spare the time
A friendly ear or opened mind
Someone to listen without deception, backtracking what they think they find
Claiming they relate
Carrying on a one sided debate
And too many want to criticize
Jumping at the chance, define and label
On a tangent
Interpret how you feel and think as much as they are able
Looking through their self perception of the world
That's when you want to get away
Sitting by the side
Of the river, you confide
in it
Watching as it runs
With each secret
Never to return to the place where it all started
Seeing it move quickly from you as it parted
All your thoughts will go, as it keeps them when it flows
And you've seen the times pass
Through it's waters
Never to look back
Wishing there'd be a someone in it's place
That you trusted, that you needed just as much
Anyone you've known
Never caring
So they'd run unlike the river and release your inner bearings
You want to be the one that could make the difference
Be the one that flows
And be just like the river
Never to look back, no matter where you go
Anything you hear with trust will stay with you, so nobody knows

See Less, Feel More
PoetryRandom poems, nothing special. It's more of a hobby when I'm bored or have something on my mind. It's just a bunch of stuff I originally put up on mirakee. There's more on there than here because I get lazy to put it here. You can find me @ see_less...
