Finding what's real
Wishing you'd forgot me
I need to feel
But you won't let me
How does it feel
Or do you care that you don't get me

How will you know what it is you got
Running around, a moron without a thought
I guess you'll never know
No, you'll never know
The look in your eyes will never show
Lights are on, but no one's home

What's real to me, is not to you
Types that want but never do
Sick people, happy when they use
Never give mind to what they choose
Can't give up when they lose
A lost battle they have to prove

The oppressors got it out for me
Can't do a thing without a plea
Someone that makes you bad to be
Restriction is strong so It's hard to breathe
Can't get along and will never see
Somebody's wrong and it won't be me

No, it's true, I'm not always right
I sat back silently, crying every night
Wishing I could go towards the light
I stayed sitting here trying to hold on to every site
But the truth is, I'm stronger than your puny might
Unlike your silence, I'm not afraid to fight.
