I am
I am the way I'm born to be
I'm a girl, what does that mean?
I'm in this world, don't try to intervene
Don't wanna be a me that's ordinary
Just be the best me that I can be
And in this world
With so many ways to be a girl
You're not someone unless you're hot
And every sort of thing I'm not
So if I could then I forgot
I guess it didn't mean that much to me
But I can see
I like to learn and go explore
With many books I need to read
And that's beautiful to me
Finding the beauty of a thought
So that I'm proud of what I got
I can pretend
What I want is mine
The me I wish that I could be
Get lost in endless make-believe
Go see the things beyond belief
That was fun but back to reality
I am over do
To rush through life with haste
I want to learn at my own pace
And me, I am up for the challenge
Because everyone has different taste
A variety of flavors that many waist
Does that mean I'm left behind?
When I stop to take my time
And if you've seen
Me, I am not perfect
I am just me because I'm worth it
And I can hurt by what you say
I'm not alright but that's ok
Life didn't end for me today
So I have more time to be this way
