I looked back on the hands of time
To see if I forgot a sign
You can't go back or change your course
What's done is done, it's okay to feel remorse
Reflection, not only in a mirror
To see yourself and all your fears
Looking back to the doubt, the dreams, the good and bad
Do what you got to do to feel the sad
So if you've done nothing then why are you glad?
You want to stop those that travel back in time
For the truth that many get lost within their mind
I do it because it works for me
To learn from my mistakes and what to do differently
The way to better myself, to know which way to go
Not to relive the suffering and be swallowed by the woe
Repent for the sorrows
And live for multiple tomorrows
It's safe to do if you have the right intentions
But don't dive in if it's only your pain that needs ascension
