There's a truth we need to battle
Where do we begin, a fact I'm scared to know
Giving me a sadness no one should have to feel
A love we need to save
How we do what we do, relentless cycles
It drifted us apart
And It's okay if I got issues, you got issues
As long as we both can handle
The good times are come and go
A fact I don't have to argue
We resolve with the goals to evolve
Finding it hard to carry on
There's those times I get restless
You're there to hold me down
That's when I can appreciate the effort
But is it worth the struggle
Nowhere is better with you
If only you were there
A fight or 2, no problem
As long as we look to figure out
Can't wait to be around you
Just to be overshadowed, again we're in trouble
Calling me, the better way to go?
Doesn't sound like a stable thought
I think I fail at the chance to cross your mind
A pain with a deepen wound
I don't have the heart to understand
Will you ever show the way to let me in
Finding all the faults in our past
We don't have to fight to figure out
Here we are, just empty shadows
Vessels we left behind, too scared to say goodbye
