Zaria woke to find a heavy weight on her hip.

Looking at the clock, she realized if she didn't get up now she would be late for work. She was on opening shift today because she had a 4pm class.

"Get off me, dude." She pushed Max's arm before quickly standing up. She heard him groan before flipping onto his stomach. The pair had agreed to wait before being fully intimate with one another. She quickly took a shower and completed her hygiene routine before beginning the long process of slicking her thick hair into a low ponytail.

Finally an hour and lots of gel later, she'd managed to smooth down her hair leaving her curls out in the ponytail. Deciding she wanted to feel cute, Zaria applied a pair of lashes, some lip gloss, and eyeliner on. Walking back into the room, she found Max still peacefully sleeping. She couldn't help but let her eyes wonder over the smooth skin of his back. Although he was relaxed, she could still see the pronounced muscles.

Throwing on a cute outfit to match her mood, she slipped on a pair of black ankle strap heels. Quietly walking out of the room, she closed the door to make sure Daniel wouldn't bother Max.

"Damn, look at you girl. Lookin' better every time I see you." Daniel stood at the kitchen counter with a mug, filled with what she assumed was coffee.

"Wait, wait, wait." Zaria quickly put down her book bag on the couch before striking a pose. She flipped her ponytail over her shoulder and began a wannabe catwalk towards Daniel.

"Cause who? Do your shit." Zaria couldn't help but laugh. She had been trying to teach him the proper way to hype her up, but the whiteness jumped out. She grabbed his mug and took a sip, humming as the taste of coffee danced on her tastebuds.

"That's some good shit."
"Because it was made by me of course." He took the mug from her hands and took a sip, all while maintaining eye contact.

"Daniel, baby, are you coming back to bed?" Zaria turned to find a gorgeous blonde standing near his door in just his t-shirt. Her legs seemed to go on for miles and Zaria couldn't help but be jealous. Zaria had a 'slim thick' body with a slightly larger than average bottom but small top.

"Yeah, give me a minute." Zaria gave him an eyebrow as she took the mug from his hands once again. The look was met with a smug smile. Zaria placed her hands up as if to say no judgement. Setting the cup down, she walked back to the couch and grabbed her bag.

"Max is still sleeping, don't disturb him please. I won't be back until around 8, so I'll talk to you later." Zaria left the apartment, checking her phone to find that it was already 5:50am meaning she had ten minutes to get to the community center.

Arriving within the nick of time, she unlocked the doors and placed her bag behind the desk. Booting up her system, she made sure to cut on all the facility lights and T.V's. The rest of her nine hour shift consisted mostly of watching movies and reading.

"Hey Z." Zaria looked up to see Olivia, a coworker. Olivia was a small, blonde lady who had three cute little boys. She was the nicest person Zaria had ever met. Switching shifts, Zaria began the 30 minute drive to New York State- a local college that offered full degrees at a fraction of the price of those big shot universities. Knowing she'd have a 3 hour class ahead of her, Zaria stopped for an iced coffee and a ham sandwich.

"Alright class, that'll be all for today. Make sure to check the course website for updates." Exiting the class, Zaria oddly felt more energized than she had when she'd gone in.

Zzzhhh
Zzzhhh

Taking out her phone, she saw it was a call from Max. "You've reach Judy with the fattest booty, who dis?"
There was a pause on the line and Zaria quickly muted herself as she let out a snort.

"Umm... I'm looking for a Zaria Hopkins." She could hear the hesitation in his voice and noticed that it was deeper than usual.

"You're so gullible Max. Tis I, Zaria Hopkins. How may I help you?" Stepping into her car, Zaria made sure to lock the doors before relaxing into the seat.

"Har har you're so funny. Anyway, I need to see you because I want to... talk to you about something. What are you doing right now?" The sudden seriousness put Zaria on edge. What could he want to talk about? They'd been pretty casual and were taking it slow.

"Uh nothing really. You want to meet up?"
In less than an hour, Zaria found herself staring up at a skyscraper in the middle of New York. It was the first time she was visiting him at work and she didn't know what to expect. Adjusting her top nervously, she made her way to the front desk. Before she could open her mouth the man behind the desk basically yelled her name.

"Zaria! Oh my gosh! Look at you, you're so beautiful." The lanky man made his way around the desk and pulled her into a hug. Despite being visually small, his grip was bone crushing.

"Umm... and you are?"
He quickly released her, "no one you'd know but I've heard Mr. Belcourt talking about you and, honey, he's not doing you justice." Zaria couldn't help the smile that crossed her face- Max has told others about her.

"Anyways, he's expecting you so go ahead and take the elevator up. It's the 50th floor." The elevator ride was a nice quiet space for Zaria to really think about why she was here. Although she had feelings for Max, she wasn't sure if she wanted to be in a relationship. There just wasn't enough time in her schedule to properly be with someone.

The elevator doors opened to reveal an empty sitting area. There were long hallways on the left and right side of the small sitting area. She didn't see any type of secretary, so Zaria pulled out her phone and sent Max a text. Realizing it was past 8pm, she sent Daniel a text letting him know she'd be home later than planned. Just as she finished the text, a pair of arms wrapped around her waist.

"Hey you." Max whispered in her ear. Zaria turned in his arms and couldn't help but smile. His hair was messy like he'd been running his hands through it all day and the top button of his shirt was undone.

"Hey handsome. How's work going?" Zaria played with the open shirt space as she stared up at him. He blew out a breath while rolling his eyes. "Let's not talk about that. Come on, step into my office Ms. Hopkins." He grabbed her hand and pulled her down the right hallway.

Stepping into the office, Zaria couldn't help but be impressed. It was large and colored in a sleek grey. The desk was glass and spotless except for a computer, keyboard, and a couple files. There was a couch and three arm chairs surrounding a coffee table. What really caught her attention was the floor to ceiling window that overlooked the city.

"Woah."
"Nice isn't it? I had them installed last year." He wrapped his arms around her waist once again. Zaria couldn't help but lean into his embrace as they stared out of the window.

"As nice as this is, we need to talk." Zaria took a step away from him. She turned and folded her arms across her chest. This was it.

"Then let's talk. Come on." She made her way to the couch and sat on the right hand side while motioning him to sit as well. Max slowly walked over and sat next to her.

"So, what did you want to talk about?"
"I wanted to let you know what's going on in my head right now. Look, Zaria you're an amazing girl and I think you'd be a great girlfriend but I'm not looking for love."

Max reaches out and took her hand in his. Zaria couldn't help but take a deep breath, they were on the same page. Noticing this, Max gave her a confused look.

"I'm just relieved that we're on the same page." She slightly smiled with a shy laugh. Max gave her a smile that sent chills down her spine. The smile told her that there as something she didn't know.

"While I think we're on the same page in that, I don't think we'll be on the same page in this. I want you to be my sugar baby. You take care of my needs, I'll take care of yours."

"A what?"
