Chapter one: Sneak peak

"Hey, Junie, girl! How you doin?" Her accent reminding Junie that the woman was originally from Florida. Desire was the hottest chain of clubs in America and employed dancers from all over the world, hand picking the best of the best. Her conversation with Star was cut short as she felt a smack to her ass. Turning, she could see the dark silhouette of a large man.

"Aye nigga! Keep your hands off her or you gon' get yo' ass beat! You must be fuckin' stupid." Star laid into the man, attracting the attention of all those near by. Junie watched as many of the dancers surrounded the man, each throwing insults and threats his way, daring the man to touch her again.

That was what she loved about Desire. Everyone here was family regardless of where you came from, what you looked like, or what you did for a living. As the women continued their taunts, security quickly swooped in, asking what the issue was. Not a minute later the man was kicked from the club.
