Walking into the park district, Zaria had never felt so confident. She had spent the last week deciding if she could truly go through with the relationship Max wanted from her. She decided that if he was willing to pay her bills for a little coochie, then who was she to stop him.

"Good morning Ms. Hopkins, how was your weekend?" The elderly man before her had been a regular site as his son did the electrical work in the building.

"It was just fine Mr. Nilsson, how about yours?" Before he could answer, Zach, Mr. Nilsson's son came around the corner. Although Zach was ten years her senior, Zaria couldn't help but stare. He was a girls wet dream- tall, dark and handsome.

"Alright Ms. Hopkins, looks like all your wiring is just fine but you'll need to replace those outlets in the upstairs bathroom. They're not updated so they won't comply with fire regulations." He placed his large hands on his hips before giving Zaria a wide smile. She nodded and quickly wrote the warning down on a sticky note- making sure to place it on her computer screen so she'd remember.

"Will do. Thank you so much." She smiled back up at him as she grabbed the envelope containing the money to pay him.

"This should cover your visit today." Zaria made sure to triple count the bills before placing them in the white envelope. Zach approached the desk slowly, not taking his eyes off her.

"Hey, um, I've been meaning to ask this but would you be interested in getting a drink sometime?" Although he had made it to the desk, the envelope remained untouched and he kept his eyes on her. Would going out with Zach be cheating? Could she see other people even though she was technically Max's sugar baby?

"Sure, umm I'm free tomorrow if you've got nothing else planned." Zaria's stomach flipped as she watched the smile fall from Zach's face.

"I've actually got a fully booked day, are you doing anything tonight?" Zach placed both hands on the desk and leaned into Zaria. She could see the slight freckles that lay across his cheeks and the dark blue specs in his eyes. Looking down at her planner, Zaria saw that she had no plans after her 1:30-5:00pm class.

"I get out of class at 5 if you're down to do something then." The two exchanged contact info after confirming their plans for the night. Zaria quickly wrote in the plan, making sure to leave enough time to get freshened up.

"And that's what we call thermodynamics. We'll finish up this unit next Monday, enjoy your weekend guys." Walking out of the 3 hour class, Zaria wanted nothing more than to take a nap for the next 3 days.

Before she could place her car in reverse, the ringing of her phone echoed through the vehicle.

"Hello?"
"Zaria, have you come to a conclusion yet?" A smile laid itself upon her lips and she leaned back into the seat.

"Uhh yeah. I'll do it, I think it'll be fun." She could hear him take a sharp breath and felt nerves build in her stomach.

"Good. What are you doing right now?"
"About to head home. I just got out of a 3 hour class and need a hot shower asap." As if her muscles heard her, Zaria felt the ache in her neck and back become more prominent.

"Come to my place. I can help you out with that." Before she could answer he hung up the phone. Rolling her eyes, she sent him a text letting him know she had plans, before exiting the parking lot.

On the drive home she couldn't help but brainstorm what to wear to this impromptu date. She wanted to wear something laid back but sexy. Running into the apartment she ignored the moaning coming from the room down the hall. After a shower and a 'just incase' shave session, she was ready to pick out her outfit. Zaria knew they wouldn't be going anywhere fancy so it was safe to wear a pair of cute but comfy jeans and an off the shoulder shirt.

A harsh knocking echoed through the apartment and Zaria quickly threw on her shoes, heading towards the door. Throwing open the door she expected to see Zach, but was greeted by an angry Max.

"Hey, did you get my text? I can't come over today, I have plans for tonight." His eyes seemed to be fixated on her outfit and she couldn't help the chill of nervousness that rippled down her spine. Stepping into the doorway of the apartment, Zaria was forced to take a step back.

"Where are you going?" His voice was deeper than she was used to hearing.

"Umm I kind of have a date."
"No you don't. Tell him you won't be able to make it... ever."

Placing her hands out, Zaria quickly pushed him backwards in an attempt to stop him from coming further into her apartment. Max placed his arm around her waist and pulled her into his frame.

"When you agreed to be mine, it was exclusive. Understand?" The husky whisper made Zaria breathless. She felt his fingers caress the exposed skin of her back- a shiver quickly followed. Unable to speak she simply nodded.

"When I address you I expect a reply." He rose his eyebrows as he stared down at Zaria- making her feel small.

"Yes, I understand." Breaking the stare, she turned and headed back into the apartment. The sounds of his footsteps combined with the closing and locking of the door made her anxious once again.

"So... what's up?" Her fingers fiddled with the sleeves of her top as she leaned against the leather couch. Instead of speaking, Max crossed the foyer and placed his hands on her waist. She took in a sharp breath as his cool and rough fingers once again made contact with the sliver of bare skin exposed. The smell of mint encased her senses and she tilted her head back to look into his eyes. As if a spell had fallen over her, she tangled her fingers in his hair and closed her eyes slightly.

"That's what I like to see." His whisper floated around her head and couldn't fully be processed before his lips were placed onto hers. He moved slowly and took in the taste of her as if she would soon disappear. Hands gripped the back of her neck lightly and titled her head even further- giving him total control. Each time she would try to speed up the kiss, he'd slightly pull away and begin lightly outlining her lips with kisses.

In frustration, she pulled his body closer to hers and wrapped her arms around his neck. Before anything could go further he fully pulled away and took a step back.

"Huuughh. Why'd you stop?" She groaned as she reached for him again. A smile graced his lips as he swatted her hands away.

"Come on, we need to talk first."
