After I finished telling the story, I looked up to see Yoongi crying and pouting at me with a "no fair" expression.
"I'm so sorry." I said, shocked. I quickly got up and fetched tissues. "I didn't mean to make you cry!" I tried to hold in my laughter from his expression.
He began chuckling while he grabbed a tissue. "Honey, I'm just very emotional! You did nothing wrong." He sniffed.
"Do you hope to see him again?" He asked.
"No. No, I hope I never see him again." I answered.
"How come?"
"My first love gave up on me, to see that he decided to do that and for me to end it with a note, I don't think we would have the happiest reunion, y'know?"
He nodded, "True. But what if it wasn't as it looked?"
I raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"
"Perhaps it was a friend of his? Maybe a cousin?"
I rolled my eyes. "I know how he looks at someone when he's in love, Yoongi. He looked that way at me."
"Ah, ah, ah," he said, pointing one finger up with is eyes wide, "you only talked to him once, and it was only for a few hours. How can you be so sure?"
I sighed. "Don't let me hope."
Yoongi only shrugged. I continued to work on the song and Yoongi watched with curiosity. At 10:00 that evening, I snuck out of my dorm and out of campus, called a taxi, and tried my best to tell him where I'm going, since I had forgotten to ask Yoongi once more about the address. Turns out it wasn't very difficult.
"Where yeh headed, miss?" The driver asked.
"I don't know the exact address." I told him.
"Then you might as well get out of my cab." The driver said in an annoying voice.
"You may have heard of it." I said, frustrated.
"Where to then?" He sighed.
"Lá Vé Mansion." I replied.
His eyes widened in the rear view mirror.
"I'm so sorry for such the disrespect, miss." he begged for forgiveness, and I couldn't help but to have a little fun.
I sat up straight and talked in a snooped voice. "You better be sorry, you're lucky that I don't call your manager and have you debunked to the trash picker or worse fired!"
He again apologized. "I'm sorry, miss. I couldn't see your wealth in this dark an-"
"My wealth?!" I shouted, almost hitting the man, though entirely meant to miss. "Is that all you taxi drivers care about anymore? Wealth on a woman's neck? Honestly, I'll just have to call Lá Vé himself and have him report you."
"Please don't." He whined.
I began to snicker, I couldn't help it
anymore. I bursted out laughing.
The man looked at me like I was a phychopath or something.
When I calmed down I explained myself.
"Chill, dude. I'm not gonna report you or anything, but I had to have a bit of revenge for you treating me so rudely. I hope you learned your lesson on mistreating your passengers?"
He sighed in relief this time. "Yes, miss. I have learned my lesson, thank you. And I apologize for being so disrespectful. It's late, y'know? I have kids to feed and I'm tired."
I nodded. "I understand, but what's the point in driving people at all if you are just trying to kick em' out? Won't you just lose more money than earn?"
"You're right." He chuckled. "So, where are you really off to?"
I looked him seriously. "I wasn't joking about going to Lá Vé Mansion."
