"Now, make sure tha-" began Professor Im while he was starting the music.
In the middle of his reminders, Taehyung had shown he already knew what he was talking about.
The shadow prince begun to sing without any further instruction on the matter.
Everyone was captivated. He put in so much emotion towards his words. The first few lines were gentle, and sounded like some sort of warning, or confession.
My eyes began to water, his voice sounded so truthful, so sincere. His deep voice was. . .in the least way to put it, very attractive. He truly did sound like the mysterious man they called him.
The music he composed sounded somewhat a slow jazz, his words moving into the beat as smoothly as it could, and his head bowed low while his bangs covered his eyes only added to the feeling of mystery.
What on Earth was he doing to me?
My expression turned to shock as his voice raised higher and sent the emotion of both anger and agonized sadness. His words being drawn out like an argument to someone he could not bring up.
The pouring of his emotions sent a soaring feeling inside of me, a raise of heart and pain, a battle that can't be solved.
The words he forced out were words he could not tell to anyone in person. The way he blames himself for some sort of mistake.
I looked around and nobody else had the glint of wonder in their eyes. No emotion except fear.
Why?
Did they not wonder as to why he was so cruel? Had nobody paid attention to his lyrics? The shadow prince sings, he doesn't talk. I peered back up at him, only to see him glancing at me while he said a line without any tune to it."Why were you like that to me then? Sorry. . ."
It only lasted for a split second before he looked back down, but I knew for sure that it happened.
His lyrics brought me to the day I shouted at him. And my eyes widened.
Was he asking me why I had been so angry? Did he make this song in just a few days? The shock made my heart speed up. Could he really be talking about me? Again, happiness soared through me at his small actions.
I don't understand my own emotions.
As I continued to watch, his expressions became more. . . Well, expressive. My heart pounded in my chest as his eyes were once again covered by his bangs, only a few things were in my mind right then.
I had to find out if this song was for me, to see if his story goes deeper than it actually seems.
"Are you calling me a sinner. . .?"
The pain he brings out on stage is assumed acting, but his eyes tell the story, at least, when they're visible. There had to be something Behind this song, to make up such work isn't possible.
"Please dry my eyes. . ."
What on earth did he do to make him feel so guilty for his music to be so passionate and real?
I was again hypnotized as his voice hit the high notes of the generation. A few people gasped, I kept my eyes open, and just stared at him in wonder and sympathy.
Music was a way to get rid all of our emotions, to bring the pain we suffered out and a way to relieve our stress.
This is why I chose to write and compose music.
Apparently, his reason was the same.
