It had been a few days since Taehyung signed the contract, and no immediate actions took place. He was driving Rasha home when he remembered this might be the last time he might see her.
"Rasha?" Taehyung said, quickly peeking at her before paying attention to the road again.
"Mm?" She responded, looking away from the window with a slight smile. He took a deep breath, suddenly nervous to tell her.
"What if I said you could see your mother again?"
Her eyes widened, and she smiled brightly.
"What's this? A surprise?" She clapped her hands a bit and leaned on Taehyung's shoulder.
He chuckled, he always thought of her as a little sister, which is why he never kissed her, and she had for some reason never wanted to kiss him. A least, it never seemed like it.
"Sort of," He said, then went back to being serious. "I might never see you again, though. Neither your father."
She frowned, shock covering her eyes.
"What?" She said quietly, leaning back from Taehyung.
"I'm afraid I got caught up in the moment of the thought of your happiness and made the deal before even thinking about it." Taehyung confessed, sadness creeping inside of him. Namjoon would miss her. . . His friends would be so angry at him. What was he thinking?
    It was too late.
Rasha was silent, pure shock in her face for a few moments. She looked towards the road and a tear fell from her chin. Pain ebbed in Taehyung and he reached over to wipe her tear.
She stopped him by grabbing his wrist.
"You did this. . .without thinking about how I would feel?" She asked, anger filling her tear rimmed eyes.
"I. . .I'm sorry, love." He said at last. "All I was thinking about was how happy you'd be to see your mother."
"What makes you think I'd choose someone who left me years ago over my boyfriend and friends? Along with my father!?" She pushed his hand away as he again attempted to wipe her tears.
"I can't believe you, Taehyung!" She shouted. He was surprised. She had never shouted before, and it excited him. He hoped that she would finally put up a fight.
"I was hoping you'd be happy! I thought you'd want to see her again! She misses you, Rasha!" He raises his voice slightly, causing her I go silent. "Her agent searched me out and told me! She wants to see you, but you won't be able to see me or your father again because she wants you to stay with her!"
She lowered her head and wipe her tears.
Taehyung felt guilty. Not only was he lying to her when he said he was thinking about her happiness, but he also made this decision for her. He glanced at her again, and she seemed calm, all except her reddened eyes and nose.
    "I understand." She said quietly.
Taehyung widened his eyes as he processed what she had replied. Then it was his turn to get angry.
"You're not mad at me? Even though I made this decision for you and may have just ruined your future with me? That you can never see your father again?!"
She looked at me, shocked and confused.
"What do you want from me, Taehyung? You were just telling me why you made it, and now you're trying to explain why I should be mad? Tell me, what should I be feeling right now?"
Taehyung's heart was going haywire. He himself didn't know what to feel.
"I don't know." He breathed. "I guess I just feel guilty now."
She rubbed his shoulder and he felt slightly uncomfortable, knowing she was doing it because he was her boyfriend, and not brother. Still though, he glanced at her and placed a kiss on her cheek.
"I'm sorry." He told her quietly, for both his true feelings and his mistake.
She shook her head, "I'm actually sort of relieved."
    He looked at her, confused.
"I've been wanting to get away from father for a very long time, you know that." She said seriously.
Then Taehyung remembered that her father had started coming home later and when he did, he was usually drunk. She told him that he would argue with her a lot and he sometimes got a little abusive. He suddenly felt a lot better about his choice.
"Don't worry," he told her, "I'm sure your mom will be happy to take care of you."
"I'm still upset at you," She said, sighing. "And honestly, extremely terrified."
Taehyung focused on the road when he replied, "I'm sorry." His tone was slightly cold, which had always made her nervous, and he knew she'd drop her feelings about the subject. All that mattered now was his love, the girl that had tortured him for so long he ended up using Rasha as a mere replacement.
The guilt will go away. He thought. Only temporary. She will be happy and he would be, too. Everything will turn out alright.
Just as predicted, she stopped talking about her feelings, and it slightly angered Taehyung.
Will she never defend herself?
He ran his fingers in his hair in stress.
"Is something wrong?" She asked him, looking concerned.
"No." He said simply, letting his thoughts get the better of him.
Why did she have this control over him? How come the one day that he and her met, that day had caused him such love and madness? Why?
He was completely crazy over her. He had no clue as to why. Hell, he was like twelve or thirteen and he'd been obsessed. He was way too young to think of such things, but there he was, Thinking!
And now here he was, using a girl, telling her how to wear her hair and always seeing her as the girl, not as Rasha. He completely abandoned the girl who loved him, for a girl he hasn't seen in years and hoped that she might still want him, just as he wanted her.
