"You summoned me, Master?" Teased Jong-suk, bowing dramatically at Jin with a smirk on his face. They were in Jin's dorm. After Jin had returned from the bar, he immediately called Jong-suk and had him come. He had to tell him the new plan. "In two days, the competition will be here," Jin started, "have you made any progress?" "Plenty," shrugged Jong-suk, he squatted slightly with a squint in his face and playfully punched Jin's arm, like boxing, "I got her to kiss me finally. Now some tension should start. I've already let the University news reporter in on all the juicy stuff. Taehyung will see the photo you took and he'll have one hell of a fit." Jin nodded once, "Good. Mr. Joo-Soo has told me to let you know that we can go on to the next phase. Start giving Mei clues on her father." Jong-suk froze and his grin fell. "I..." He began, standing straight and placing his hand on the back of his neck. "Are you sure it's a good time to tell her no—" "Jong-suk," interrupted Jin, stern-sounding, "You have to let her know." Jong-suk didn't want to reveal the secrets of her father... he didn't want her to find out he knew. He sighed, realizing how much he wished he wasn't part of the plan at all. Still, he couldn't reject orders from Jin or Mr. Joo-Soo. He nodded once. "Of course, sir." "You're dismissed." Jin said with a slight nod. Jong-suk bowed back and left the room. Only when Jin's door was closed and he made it across the hallway and had entered the elevator, he let a few tears fall down his face. "Mei..." ________________________________
Taehyung felt his heart shatter. On his phone, the Campus Gossip had updated just a few minutes ago. It read:
GIRL STEALS PLAYBOY'S HEART! This week on the Campus Gossip we have quite the news! We've received evidence that Min Mei, age 21, has stolen the University's playboy! Lee Jong-suk, age 24, has confessed his love for her natural charm and her way of always being there for him! They started off as enemies, but Jong-suk has explained, "I couldn't come near her because she made me nervous. I felt like taking her for myself, and made (anonymous name) pretty jealous. But I must say, he was quite the challenge to beat. I'm just glad I finally found the courage to make this hyper heart calm." Min Mei has decided to accept him, and she seems quite excited. Taehyung couldn't help but place his phone down and breathe quickly. He sat down on his bed and placed his hands on his head, nearly hyperventilating at the crushing news. He told her to wait, just as she had told him. Why the sudden change? Why did she suddenly choose him? He felt broken. He had been fooled. Just when he thought he could get over Rasha....
