I had been in acting class, taking a quiz on emotional techniques, when Jong-suk walked in the classroom with a packet of papers.
Professor Chi-San smiled at him and looked toward the class.
"Students," He Said with a relaxed tone, "this is Lee Jong-suk, he'll be helping you guys out with your acting skills. He's a beginning actor and is becoming a doctor as well. So he'd be great for your lessons."
Taehyung, who had been next to me, glowered under his hair.
I didn't wish for him to sit next to me, what had happened was that he forced this other girl to move because she was "sitting in his seat" she obediently left with a flirtatious smile.
He had tried to talk to me in the beginning of class but I continued to ignore his attempts.
I looked up and Jong-suk smiled kindly and winked.I had nearly fallen for it. Nearly, but then I looked away with pink cheeks and decided to focus once again on my quiz.
Why are all these men around me so much? I have six friends that are only boys, one that kissed me and now I'm trying to avoid, and now, a freaking playboy who won't leave me alone.
Life is great!
I smiled to myself as I thought about it, and I saw a little movement in the corner of my eye. I turned to look at Taehyung, who was staring at me in confusion.
"What?" I whispered.
"Why are you smiling like that?" He asked, also whispering.
"Just about a thought in my head." I told him. He nodded once with with a soft "mm" and then looked back down at his book.
I felt a twitch of embarrassment as I looked at my quiz and was only on the fourteenth question out of thirty, He he finished within ten minutes of the quiz!
I mentally rolled my eyes and finished up in about fifteen minutes. Once the very last person had turned in their quiz, we went straight to work on our play.
We were handed out new scripts and am entirely different plot line because Jong-suk thought that the other one was too cheesy and not good enough to test our skills. I hate to say that I completely agreed with him. I was happy that we weren't going to have those lines anymore.
I looked at my script. It actually didn't seem all that bad, either. I played the lead role and I was a girl who had become a secretary for one of the most famous business men in the world. He had a strong aura of confidence and was arrogant. He loved himself more than any other person, that is, until his secretary starts to discover his past and she becomes his best emotional support. In the end, he realizes he loves her and when she quits due to an epic ant gunner, he goes after her to tell her the truth about his feelings.
I smiled to myself, there was even a love triangle involved, as well. The secretary not only falls for her boss, but a co-worker as well. Though I frowned as I got deeper into the script. There were kissing scenes with both the actors. I looked around the room and immediately eliminated every boy in the room. I didn't like this script so much anymore.
I walked up to Professor Chi-San and told him about my complaint.
He only shrugged. "Sorry miss Min, but you must learn to deal with how to kiss an actor, it's all acting anyway. Nothing matters in the role except the audience. Let them know it's real, but don't let it get too deep into your mind that it's real, otherwise you'll take it to your daily life."
I rolled my eyes. Save me from this hell I call life.
"Go socialize with your fellow students," he added, "they all seem happy about their roles, go see what your friends have in all of this."
"What friends," I mumbled as I remembered that the rest of them had a different elective today. I turned and went down the stairs.
Out of nowhere, Jong-suk pops up and smiles with his face between his hands.
