"Alex!" I hear three loud knocks and then my name called again. My eyes open slowing as I take in my surroundings. "Alex!" I hear my name again. It sounds likes girl. Maybe Becky or Rose. I turn on my side to find someone laying next to me. Ryder.
"Ryder!?" I whisper-shout.
He moans as his eyes flutter open only to close again. The knocking on the other side of the door continues. The person sounds very impatient. I feel bad for waking Ryder up but what would one think seeing him shirtless in my bed and me, wearing his shirt, laying next to him. I shake him to wake him up. "Five more minutes."
"No, Roo. Wake up!" I push him up and off the bed. He lazy moves up.
"Alex! Open this door right now!" My mom? My mom! Oh no, if she sees Ryder in here all hell will be released.
"Just give me a minute mom!" I hurry to push Ryder into the bathroom. I securely shut the door before turning to allowing my mom in. I walk towards the door and open it.
I am surprised to see Becky and Rose on the other side. Smirking. "It's amazing...how much I sound...like your...mom." Becky snorts in between laughs. I glare up at her. Then I glare at Rose who is trying hard to hide her smile.
After calming down a bit Becky speaks, "I take that you two had a good time?" She twirls my bra by her index finger. I grab the bra from her as my face turns its familiar rosy colour. I walk back inside my room in order not to let them see my face. The sound of the toilet flushing is heard. Roo.
"Is that my brother in there!? And is that his shirt?" Rose doesn't give me time to reply but pulls a disgusted face and turns to leave. "Ewww!" She screams on her way down the stairs.
Becky chuckles. "Uhm, we made breakfast so if you're hungry..." Her vision moves from me to something behind me. "Yeah, you too as well." I'm sure she's talking to Roo.
I turn to greet him but I get distracted by his shirtless chest. "Morning babe." He says first. He walks up to me then wraps his arms around my waist in a tight hug.
"I'm sure you'll be wanting your shirt back." I pull away from from his tight grasp.
"Nah you keep it." He pulls me back closer to his chest, "Actually, no, I want it. Now. Please take it off for me." A cheeky smile plays at his lips as his fingers go underneath the shirt.
"Oh really now?" I smile at him as well. Slowing but surely the shirt inches up my stomach but I stop him just beyond my belly button. "I'm hungry. And you won't like me as much when I become very hungry." I threaten.
"I'm sure I'll love you just as much, maybe even more." He kisses my nose.

The sweet smell of freshly made bacon fills the air. At one sniff of the smell I bolt past Ryder who is walking in front of me. The kitchen is full of people. Well mainly the people that were here last night. I don't bother greeting anyone but run towards the plate full of bacon.
"Get your filthy hands away from the bacon!" Becky shouts at me while pointing the spatular directly at me. I pull a cheeky smile as I steel on piece of bacon.
10 minutes later we are all sitting around the island in the middle of the kitchen. There is all sorts of food laid across the table. Cereals, eggs, orange juice and much more. "This is in honour of our very close and dear friend Alex." Rose holds up her cup of water and continues, "this is to the nights that turned into mornings and a best friend that turned into family. Cheers!"
Everyone else picks up their glasses and allow the tips to touch with each person's cup. Once everyone puts their cups down we begin to eat. Of course, the first thing on my plate is bacon.
