Friday finally arrived and I was so excited for that night. All week I'd been thinking about the party. Even though he specifically told me that it wasn't a date, I was acting like it. Becky and I were supposed to be going shopping after school but she was busy making out with some random guy who I presume is her new boyfriend. So instead I was stuck with Rose. Argh. Not that I don't like her but...yeah you get it.
Shortly after we entered the shopping mall, Rose had attracted so many guys. I didn't deserve this. I grabbed her arm and ran into an appealing dress shop. "What did you do that for ?!" She yelled at me. I didn't even hear her shouting, I was so distracted by the dress that hung in front of me. It was a short, thin strap, black dress. The dress is covered in light pink and yellow flowers. I had to try it on and only hope that it would fit since it seemed like it was the last of its kind.
I completely forgot about Rose but she didn't seem to care, seeing that her little fan club found our hide out. I grabbed the dress and headed for the dressing rooms while mumbling to Rose. After closing the curtain, taking off my clothes, putting on the dress and turning to see myself in the mirror I just stood there staring at myself. I didn't know I had curves as curvey as what I was currently looking at. I spun around again and saw the dress moved with me like the wind was blowing beneath it.
This is it. The dress. Its perfect.
Without any hesitation i took it off, quickly putting my clothes back on, putting it back on the hanger and going over to the till. Rose was no where to be seen. I guess she's off with one lucky guy. I should have expected that from her. It always happens anyways.
Now that my spectacular dress is paid for I need to find a pair of shoes. This is usually Becky's department. She knows all about shoes and what goes well with what. I wish she was here instead of the 'boy-magnet.' I don't even know where to get accessories. I've walked around looking for the most decent shoes that could possibly go well with my dress.
I got so tired from searching and just might be satisfied with plan B, my black pumps. I needed to have a break and something to eat. The mini cafe seemed like a good idea. Just one grilled cheese and a soda was be alright.
“Oh my god. Alex is that you?" I heard a familiar voice call. At first it startled me then I quickly realised who it was. Tristan.
“Yeah, what are you doing here?" I asked curiously.
“Looking for you of course."
“Like you would do that for me."
“ Your right, I would never. I'm waiting for my girl. "
“ You have in a relationship?"
“ Yes, something you desperately need instead of drooling over AJ. " He says while pouting his lips.
“ Whatever Tristan, i have no time for this. See you. "
With that I paid for the meal and left him. I cant believe he has a girlfriend. I knew the day was coming but Tristan doesn't seem like that type of guy. He usually just hooks up with the girl and leaves her thinking that he is coming back when he isn't. She'll just ends up like the rest of them, with a broken heart and a deep hatred for Tristan.
Looking for the perfect shoes has turned out to be a successful fail, until i found them. Sitting on display through a window. I almost fell over just trying to get inside the shop. The shoes are wedges with thick black straps that cross over each other. Now that i have the perfect dress and the perfect shoes to match it I think I'm ready for this party.
