Laura's POV:

The past week had been amazing, I felt ten times better than from when I first got here. Harry and Sarah had been with me most of the day now, and they improved my mood. Even Harry and I have been spending a lot of time together...

I am considering telling him how I really feel but I'm still building up the courage. Sarah has been rooting me to do it claiming if I don't I'll never know. I guess I'm just second-guessing myself because he was my doctor.

Currently, it is a Monday and it was the day where Harry was testing if I could stand and walk on my own. I had just been rolling around in a wheelchair if I wanted to get out because my legs still felt very weak and unmovable. Everything had taken a toll on my body and I could barely move without feeling nauseous.

My thoughts were interrupted as Harry came into the room with Sarah. He had a big smile on his face and Sarah did as well. She was carrying my binder per usual and I instantly relax. They are the only company I get nowadays so whenever they come around my mood comes up.

"Good morning love"

Harry said gently and looked into my eyes. I blushed at the nickname, His deep British accent making my stomach do a thousand flips.

"Morning"

I reply shyly.

"Are you ready to try and walk?"

he asked and I nodded my head bracing myself for what's about to happen. If I didn't pass this test I might have to stay in the hospital longer until I get better. I mean it doesn't sound like the worst thing in the world but I missed going to work and having an actual life. Who knows maybe I could still visit them after I'm gone... It would break my heart if I couldn't.

Harry walked over to me as did Sarah. I sat up and moved my legs over the side of my bed facing both Harry and Sarah.

Harry reached his hands out and I blushed but grabbed his arms nonetheless. They were firm and I felt the veins due to his muscular arms. I tried my best to focus on anything else other than him but it was quite the challenge.

I took a deep breath and stood up slowly, Harry pulled me up a little for support. I stumbled a bit but Harry was holding onto me. My legs were shaking already, It didn't hurt but it was like my body weighed a thousand pounds.

"Take it slow"

Harry whispered as he slowly let's go of me. I try to focus on my balance and took a step forward. I wobbled a little bit but I managed to somewhat be stable. I kept taking little steps and remain still. Harry and Sarah were walking with me giving me encouraging words and I couldn't help but smile.

About 30 minutes go by with me walking around my hospital room. I can finally walk like a normal person but I still have to take it slow... I can't go running off or anything like that.

Harry guided me back to my bed and I was relieved because I was out of breath. Which at first I was very concerned why but Harry told me that was because of my CHF. As I lay back down Sarah brings me a cup of water.

"Thank you"

I said breathlessly sipping the water slowly.

"You did good today, I'm very proud of you Laura"

Harry said with a small smile on his face. My cheeks heating up as I avoid his intense stare. My chest was fluttering from his compliment that I could barely work up a reply.

"T-thank you"

I say softly,

Harry was writing some notes in the binder when he suddenly stopped,

"How would you feel about taking a stroll around the hospital with me tomorrow?"

He blurted out suddenly leaving me in utter shock. Sarah's reaction was priceless, her jaw dropped behind Harry but I didn't pay attention I was focused on Harry.

"of course if you don't feel comfortable yet that's fine"

he said and I immediately turned red and I felt myself scream internally. I couldn't help but smile.

"no, no that sounds great"
