Chapter 21

A few days passed and Justin accepted the fact that there was something seriously wrong with him. In fact he didn't seem to care at all, Johnathan was to afraid to talk about it because he didn't want to make Justin angry, because he has seen Justin angry and it is not a great situation to be in, but Johnathan's dad was worried. He didn't know what to do about it, according to Dr. Waller there was really nothing he could do about it because they didn't understand it.

Justin took home schooling classes on the computer while Johnathan continued to go to public school. The man didn't want anyone to know he was keeping Justin so he refused to let him out of the house for a while. It took about a year for him to allow Justin to go outside and be comfortable that he wouldn't be caught. The first step was allowing him to go to the playground with Johnathan, it was a short walk from the house, they lived in a subdivision that had a huge playground in the center of the neighborhood.

The first trip they took went well and Johnathan got himself a girlfriend, or so he claimed. Justin began teasing him playfully because Johnathan refused to tell him her name or even introduce him to her. Johnathan claimed his girlfriend didn't live in the neighborhood and said she lived on the other side o town. "Well, how are you seeing her at the playground way over here if she lives on the other side of town genius?" Justin laughed. "Her uncle lives in the neighborhood that she visits with at least once a month and plus she goes to school with me."

"Yea, ok, whatever you say!"

Johnathan didn't like the fact that Justin didn't believe he had a girlfriend so he thought he could get him off his back about it if he had a girlfriend of his own, and Johnathan knew the perfect person to set him up with. The following day at school he found her. "Cloe, do you remember Justin?"

"Justin Colez?"

"Yes!"

"Of course I do! I haven't seen him in a really long time though."

"Well, I know where he is! How would you like to go on a date with him? I know you like him!"

"You could get me a date with him?"

"Absolutely! Just be at the playground by the swings Saturday around eleven and I will have him meet you there."

Saturday came and Cloe was at the swings as planned, Johnathan spotted her and told Justin he was going to get his girlfriend and he would meet up with him by the swings. Justin agreed and walked towards Cloe. "Hi Justin, remember me?" Cloe asked. Justin looked up at her for a moment and nodded. "Johnathan told me to meet you here." She said. "Oh did he?"

"Yes."

"Are you his girlfriend?"

"No, but I was kind of hoping I could be yours."

Justin was swinging and forced himself to stop and looked up at her once again. Her blonde hair blowing softly in the wind, her pail skin made her blue eyes seem to shine brighter in the sun light. She wore a floral sundress and flip flops showing off her newly pink polished toenails. Justin never thought about dating but since she was standing there looking at him with dreamy eyes and a smile from ear to ear gleaming at him with hope it crossed his mind for the first time. "Since when do you like me?"

"Since I met you."

"Really?"

"Yes."

"Why have you never mentioned this before?"

"I was going to but when I finally got enough courage to, you disappeared."

Justin looked at the ground and back at Cloe, he got up and wrapped his arm around her shoulder and directed her to the swing. "Sit, I'll push you while I think about it." He said. She smiled and sat in the swing, Justin began to slowly push her and started looking around. "Justin!" a familiar voice called from behind. "Justin turn around!" it called out again. A confused look came over Justin's face as he did what the voice said. "JT! Oh man I didn't think I would see you here. What brings you this way?"

"My uncle lives out here duh. What are you doing out here?"

"Can't say. I'm sorry, but man it's good to see you!"

"You too. Hey Cloe, long time no see."

"Hi JT." She said in a disappointed tone.

"Wait, what's going on here? Are you two dating?" JT asked.

"We are now." Justin said looking back and winking at Cloe. She smiled and stood up to hold his hand, and rest her head on his shoulder.

"Wow! Didn't see that coming, you would be the last person I ever expected her to be with." JT said surprised.

"Why do you say that?" Justin asked.

"Cause she dates what we would call 'preppy boys' that's why."

"Yea, well, I'm passed them, they are to mean and I don't like the way they treat me." Chloe chimed in.

"Well, Justin makes a great choice than."
