"Hello Mrs. Jacobs, I am calling to give you an update on your daughter, she and the baby are doing very well, she is recovering and they are going to be just fine, but we do need you to get here soon to sign her release forms and take her home, also I would like to fill you in with more details and ask a few questions, but I would like to do so in person."

The doctor said in a calm yet urgent voice.

"Oh my goodness what? Where is she? What happened? Who are you?"

Her heart dropped in fear, her eyes widened and her jaw hanging open with her hand on her cheek waiting for a response.

"I'm....I'm sorry ma'am, I thought you were aware, your daughter said she called you two days ago. Your daughter is Marge Jacobs correct?"

"Yes."

"Ok, well my name is Dr. Seth Waller, Marge is here at St.Mays Hospital and she has been here for 48 hours in treatment for an accident, and I can fill you in with more information as soon as you arrive. We are on the second floor and she is in room 243."

"Oh my goodness, ok I'm on my way right now!"

She hung up the phone and ran to Ron who was currently kicked back in bed watching 'Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?'.

"Ron! Ron! Ron get up we have to go to the hospital and call the police department and let them know we found Marge!"

She said relieved and stressed at the same time as she ran to the closet to gather her husband some clothes.

"What? Why is she at the hospital?"

"I dont know. The doctor said he will fill us in when we get there, all he said is she has been there for two days due to an accedent. Lets go move it, move it!"

The ride to the hospital was all but quiet. Darla was in such a rush she sped through stop signs without looking, ran red lights and didn't seem to care, she nearly rear ended at least five cars for either not going fast enough for her liking or they were simply abiding by street laws. Ron sat in the passenger seat holding on for dear life and holding his breath almost the whole way taking in small breaths at a time when there were no cars in sight and screaming like a little girl when there was. He couldn't help but think he made a mistake by letting her drive, but there wasn't much he could do since he had to run and jump into the car because she was already backing out of the driveway by the time he walked out of the house, hell, he wasn't even sure if he locked the front door let alone if he even shut the damn thing.

When they arrived (luckly not being caught by the police) Darla jumped out, forgetting to put the car in park or shut off the engine, and ran into the hospital leaving Ron to tend to her forgetfulness.

She quickly found Marges room and almost busted through the door because she was in such a rush and paniced, only to find the room empty. Now completely paniced and in shock she lost her nerve, she tore the room apart, looking under the bed, stripping sheets off the bed, and she ran into the bathroom and ripped the shower curtin down. No sign of her daughter.

She then ran out of the room to the desk knocking stuff off the counter unintentionally as she tryed to balance herself...

"WHERE IS MY DAUGHTER? MARGE JACOBS, WHERE IS SHE? TELL ME DAMMIT!"

She yelled at the woman on the other side of the desk.

"Calm down ma'am, let me check."

The woman scanned through the names in her computer for a moment.

"She is in room 243."

"NO SHE IS NOT! I JUST CAME OUT OF THERE SHE IS NOT THERE!"

"Ok ma'am, let me page Dr. Maller and see if maybe he knows where she might be. They may have moved her to a different room."

Back at the car Ron quickly got the car in park and shut it off. He lay on the ground next to the car trying to catch his breath and calm down.

"That is it, I sware that is the LAST time I let that woman hold keys in her hand period point blank, no house keys, no car keys, no lock keys, not even toy keys!"

He said to himself, he let out a huff and gathered enough strength to pull himself off the gound and find his crazed wife inside.

Dr. Waller met with Darla in the lobby of the first floor, (she had been romoved due to her rage) Ron joining them a few minutes later.

"Are you Marge's mother?"

"Yes!"

"Hi! I'm Dr.Waller! I'm glad you made it!"

"Where is she?"

"Did I not give you the room number over the phone? Im so sorry she is in room 243."

"I was in there, I tore the room up looking for her, she is not in there."

The doctor looked a bit shook.

"She was in the bed hooked up to an I.V."

"She is not there." She responded in a sturn voice giving the doctor a go to hell look.

"Well, I guess its a good thing I never called the police department to tell them we found her."

Ron said softly almost as if he was mumbling under his breath.

"How long has she been missing?"

The doctor asked curiously.

Darla rested her head in her hands trying to fight back the tears.

"She has been missing for a week and a day." She said softly.

The rage was fading and depression was setting in. Her heart felt heavy and her throat was tight. The doctor began speaking but she couldnt hear anything he was saying as her mind drifted, wondering if she would ever see her daughter again or even meet her new grandson. She questioned herself wondering if she had done something wrong. Why can't I find her? Is she running away? What did I do so wrong? What if she was kidnapped? What if her capters snatched her from the bed?
